The tool of evolution is in our hand…

Frankly speaking, so far, up to this point, everything we’ve done – honestly, with the possible exception (hypothetically) of not yet a genuine compromise ‘true’ – opposition party; has been a paper trail. If you’re one of those concerned Nigerians who are yet to be convinced about our collective effort or nervous about the future, it’s because U’re a true Nigeria. Don’t worry. You’re not alone.

The frustrations…networking…dialogue and MYO…complains (My…complains; Your…complains; Our complains) we’ve built on the ruling party (PDP to be précised)has led (U & I) us right to the threshold of action, and it has taken away a lot of our old excuses for not acting even if it’s only a word of mouth and on paper.

Thanks to Facebook and all the free social networking. We might need to push it a little further by creating a unify ‘Structure.’ Unify structure as in creating a genuine and real ‘opposition political Party’ would make it a lot likelier that we’ll act eventually.

My only fear is the fear itself. The only obstacle that can make us or will not make us act at the present moment is what I called; THE FIRST ENEMY – Fear.

Our obstacle fears could be categorized into two parts: The imaginary obstacle (fear) and the reality obstacle (fear). Imaginary obstacles are insurmountable while the reality obstacles aren’t. But unfortunately for us we cannot differentiate either of the two because we have no true (facts) information or evidence to support our aim.

Fear in itself can create even more imaginary obstacles than ignorance can. Pause & think. That’s why the smallest step away from speculation without facts and into ‘reality’ can be an absolutely amazing relief to strengthen our purpose.

Fear that strikes when we feel as if we had been so ready and at the same time so busy; as in climbing a ladder to dive that we forget there was another diving board at the top. That’s the kind of fear we’re talking about.

Now, based on our circumstances, how do we unmask the terrible fear that continue to make some of us (sold-out…Judas style) compromise their principles when the going got tough. Food for thought…

To combat our on-going struggle for true democracy, we might need to take a closer look at EVOLUTION.

Evolution as proclaimed by Mark Twain is the law of policies: Darwin said it, Socrates endorsed it, and Cuvier proved it and established it for all time in his paper on ''The Survival of the Fittest.''

The survival of the fittest is the ageless law of nature, but the fittest are rarely the strong. The fittest are those endowed with the qualifications for adaptation, the ability to accept the inevitable and conform to the unavoidable, to harmonize with existing or changing conditions.”

How can EVOLUTION help Nigeria at this point in time…when we’re not only a failed Country but recently categorized according to Forbes…as 20th SADDEST nation in the world…? Food for thought!

If we want to point finger and call-a-spade-a-spade, let us agree to disagree and blame our cultural evolution catastrophe. Sorry for my obnoxious…profound…blunt statement; but with due respect’ our traditional commemorations of vast stupidly of the three (S)’s; Self-interest- greediness; Self-centered; Selfishness, needs to be eradicated for good. And the only know how factor based on our political traits is a true and honest JUDICIARY SYSTEM run by professional people; Men /Women of integrity, loyalist and patriotic supreme judges. Food for thought!

The unfortunate scenario is that our existing cultural evolution had been compromised way back since the colonial masters invaded the land. The damaged seems to co-exist never to depart due to our vast stupidity as mentioned earlier.

How do we deal with this virus that had vigorously eaten away our hope? How can we prevent or protect the innocent children(s) of our (Selfish…greedy…self-centered) leaders from passing on the bad gene? Pause & think! (Food for thought)

Metaphorically, there is only one way to live free of fear – and that is to live without HOPE, CHANGE, and GROWTH. It might be pretty sheepish, if we (U & I) continue to follow the old (philosophy...) that leads us to nowhere but a dead end. As we continue to put pressure on the bad guys (d selfish…Self-centered…and d ignorant) among us, we must be eyes and ears and memory banks for each other, never to lose focus or compromise for the wrong reason.

In order to understand why a modernized EVOLUTION might be our only hope, or only way out, we need to take a closer look at our ‘Cultural Evolution’ history and why our forefathers had failed us, consciously or unconsciously.

According to Andrew Carnegie “The price which society pays for the law of competition, like the price it pays for cheap comforts and luxuries, is great; but the advantages of this law are also greater still than its cost / for it is to this law that we owe our wonderful material development, which brings improved conditions in its train. But, whether the law is benign or not, we must say of it: It is here; we cannot evade it; no substitutes for it have been found; and while the law may be sometimes hard for the individual, it is best for the race, because it ensures the survival of the fittest in every department.”

The better able we are to assess risk and take preventive measures (ASAP…) the longer we might live. Food for thought!

Let us not put the wagon before the horse. We need to be realistic for a change and stop complaining about the secondary factors instead wholeheartedly call-a-spade-a-spade and address the major problem. We need to focus on the number one chapter in democracy - Nigeria Judiciary (Supreme Court) system. Without a true and honest justice system, we might as well just let the dog back in… (Food for thought)

The result from the differences between our expectations of how people might behave, on the highest position in any society and the counterproductive manner in which we actually do behave is superior to any particular person whether that individual is from the North, South, East or West of the country.

Believe it or not: Most if not majority enjoy believing in abstract balancing principles. Indirectly it’s called Superstition. Don’t you sometimes walk around a ladder, or kiss your exam paper for good luck? Pause & Think…Food for thought!

Agree or disagree (our prerogative), the truth of the matter is that superstitions is another (individual) religion that we worship (consciously or unconsciously) - imbedded decision influenced by our belief and environment. Nigerians mentality (backward) per se… In other words, it proves our theory that if we don’t use our head to enhance our survival, we’ll be fingered by the impartial hand of fate. Is that what we (Nigerians) are striving for….? I guess not. Food for thought!

Unfortunately, some of us are so accustomed to the way life has been (d usual…chop & ‘make I’ chop phenomena) that we cannot imagine the possibility of a better drastic CHANGE. We refused to accept that we’re at war, most especially our few (imposed/selected) leaders. Including but not limited to some compromised journalist (lesser hypocrites in deed) who choose to report remarkably little about the on-going atrocity and abuses of their fellow citizen. Indirect selfish act…called; “Surviving Stupidity.”

The tools of evolutions are in our hand…

If we can agree to disagree that we flunked our ‘cultural evolution’ test ever since we let d so called colonial masters dictate what is good and what is bad for our people such as “meme analogous,” then we might begin to see the big picture or understand the essence of our problems.

…’meme’ as defined is the cultural characteristic passed down generations – generations. Also, it’s any characteristic of a culture, e.g. its language, which can be transmitted from one generation to the next in a way analogous to the transmission of genetic information. Please…Pause & think.

The tools of evolutions are in our hand…

In other words, the ‘meme’ (unit of information) analogous to a genetic gene, is a self-propagating nugget of information with the capacity to infect and transformed thoughts (MYO…thoughts) MY…thought, YOUR…thoughts & OUR…thoughts, of each person it encounters. Please…Pause & think.

Is that not the number one strategic used to not only conquer us (AFRICAN (s)) but also used to control our mind & thought…?  WHY…? BE d JUDGE…Food for thought!

The tools of evolutions are in our hand…

Fortunately and unfortunately, Nigeria as proclaimed (British- English Colony) has benefited from their imposed lingual fracas but, we cannot refute the fact that our Cultural Evolution was compromised. A typical exiting mentality is our judiciary ‘dressing code’ that we refuse to CHANGE. …d “WIG”; WHY…WHY…WHY?  BE d JUDGE. May be d ‘Hair cut’ might help us eradicate the big C… (CORRUPTIONS…) Food for thought!!!

What is wrong with (A.F.R.I.C.A.N (s)) our meme…?

What is wrong with (A.F.R.I.C.A.N (s)) us…?

Why are we so backward…?

How come everyone can adapt and make d necessary CHANGE’ to better their lives except us…?

What is wrong with our MIND…?

Evidently, others, (d…East, d…West…etc.) could mutated and spread the unseen agent of CHANGE through the medium of communication but US…the question still remain; WHY…?

The tools of evolutions are in our hand…

Whining and complaining will do nothing but prolong our hope for a change. Planning and strategizing our opposition if there is any, will solve two problems; one, we won’t feel trapped within our own political afflictions. Two, the ruling party will not have any choice but to either do the right thing or get their act together or step aside for the majority. In other words, allowing bad feelings to hang around too long can cloud our judgment. When we’re oppressed and depressed, happiness looks stupidly short-sighted. Food for thought!

The tools of evolutions are in our hand…

Realistically, we all go from most knowledgeable to most ignorant several times in our lives. No one is perfect as they say. Not because we have PhD…or your IQ is 99%. It’s just because we’re human. It’s normal to make mistake, but we cannot go after what we want, if we don’t know what’s available…

It’s a whole new world. The entire world is getting smaller and smaller every day. Let us wake-up and smell d coffee while it’s still hot. No will of iron, no grinding self-discipline…d ball is in our court.   WAKE –UP NIGERIA…WAKE-UP…

Change can be challenging and unconformable sometimes, that’s why REAL MODERN…realistic EVOLUTION is mandatory for NIGERIA… and the tool to find it is in our hand… Food for thought!!!

In a nutshell:

“Forgive your enemies, but never forget their names.” John F. Kennedy

In other words, forgive d ruling parties but never forget/forgive NPN…PDP…etc. Food for thought!!!

As always;
…to Almighty GOD be d GLORY!
