It will be easier for a camel to pass through the h*** of a needle than for Nigeria as nation to progress. Apart from the corrupt recycle leadership, the mentality exibits by majority of Nigerians make it not only difficult for Nigeria to progress as anation but also incacerates the few progressive ldeas necessary to push and affects changes. Like someone tell me, "corruption is no news to NIgerian's ear" so, has Nigerians endorsed corruption as national pastime, probably yes as majority of Nigerian are so sympathetic with corrupt officials, whether it is James Ibori, Bode George, Bankole, Abacha, Diepreye, Kalu orji, the list goes on, Nigerians always find time to rally in their supports, traditional rulers and other prominent Nigeria always stick out their assets as surties to bail them out. Even within this forum, though people are entitle to their opinion, you will be amazed to read some opinons in support of those criminals. from the four geographical regions of the nation no love lost for the corrupt officials, if not because of ethnicity, it is because of religion. As Nigerian living abroad i have no sympathy for those criminals subscribing suffering and poverty for the citizen, i wish majority of Nigerian especially those at home will reverse their sympathetic mentality toward the apathetic criminals call leaders. if Nigerian continue to shower those corrupt leaders with their blind loyalties, i have no doubt that Nigeria as a country will never see the light of progress or development, In my opinion, i will be careless to see any of the corrupt so call leader passing through the h*** of needle to their graves than for millions of Nigerians teetering to survive.
