Chelsea look set to sign former England goalie Rob Green from QPR, according to reports.
The Blues are looking for a reliable glovesman to battle Thibaut Courtois for the No.1 jersey, with Petr Cech set to leave.
And the Times says attention has turned to Green, with a move set to be made at the end of the season. Green would apparently be happy to move to Stamford Bridge and would gladly accept a role as understudy to Courtois.
It’s thought QPR would accept a small fee to do business.
Green who has had an excellent season for the R's and has been called into the latest England squad to cover for the injured Fraser Forster.
Green has a further year to go on his current deal at Loftus Road and a healthy offer might prove difficult to turn down by the R's although it may well come down to where the relegation-haunted R's are playing their football next season.
