UMULERI COMMUNITY SHOULD BE CALLED TO ORDER - AGULERI CONCERNED GROUP.

Our attention has been drawn to protests by Citizens of Umuleri Town (a.k.a. Umueri, a name they changed out of confusion about their origin and heritage thereby trying hard to deny their Umu-Iguedo origin, of which they are even the youngest), over Land use agreement the community had with various past Anambra State government administration for building the Anambra State International Cargo Airport; which they are now obviously having second thoughts about.

Anambra community builds unity centre worth N150m

The Managing Director, Anambra State Housing Corporation Chief Willie Okafor, has called on communities in the state to emulate development project initiated by the Aguleri People’s Forum for the common benefits of the people.

Chief Okafor made the call in Awka on Saturday.

He said that Aguleri people in the Diaspora and home decided to embark on the development project that would cost N150 million and be completed within a year.
