Terrorism Has No Religion

By Abdallah el-Kurebe

Holy war, suicide bombings, fighting for reasons of faith, and killing in the name of God - from Crusaders to terrorists, from sacred shrines to New York City, history is tainted by a grave disease afflicting humankind. While all the known religions of the world call for love, peace, tolerance, freedom of belief and mutual understanding, many of the terrorists’ acts are committed in this world by people who see themselves as… Continue

The EFCC should show some decorum

While I would want to give kudos to the EFCC,at least for a thorough investigation which lead t these discoveries,I would also want state here Clearly, That It is just one side of the story,we haven't heard from Mrs Ibru, publicly .She should be given a chance to explain her assets. It shouldn't have been made public yet, until probably after the court case,if she is found guilty. And she is innocent until proven guilty.
The EFCC should show decorum in their all pursuits. Thanks

The Save Nigeria Protest March In London, Friday 15th January 2010

Seems like this date, 15th January 2010 will go down in the history of the Nigerians Abroad as a great day. Notably too, it was also the birthday of that great Icon of the Black race, Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. although its celebration this year in the United States will be on Monday 18th January.

It was the day Nigerians from throughout the United Kingdom and Europe gathered in an 'Enough is Enough – Save Nigeria” protest rally in London,… Continue

The Earth is Hot! Save the Earth and save yourself!!

Global warming is the increase in average temperature of the Earth’s atmosphere. It is when the earth heats (temperature rises) up and this happens when greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide, water vapor, nitrous oxide, ozone and methane) trap heat and light from the sun in the earth’s atmosphere.

Greenhouse gases are responsible for the global warming, and humans emit them in a variety of ways. Most come from the combustion of fossil fuels in cars, factories and… Continue

Islam cries!(A poem)

The prophet is gone

To his lord with the message done.

The battles he fought;

A message that God is one.

Islam is peace! Islam is not wrought!

Islam cries!

Truants and the fanatical psychos-

Have hijacked the turban

And the peaceful rites that belongs to the faithful.

In the mountains they smoke weeds,

And at the call of the Adhan,

They kneel in prayer to Allah-

Whom they have waged war at

Out of scorn and cruel… Continue

A love you never returned

It hurts deep down

Loving but not being loved.

I glanced at the empty crown

Which I kept solely for you

To keep this love new-

And fresh like the morning dew.

I am addicted to my cell phone

Just to reach for your love

Which you never returned-

As I hear my voice come back to me

Like a rejected echo with no response.

I stayed cuddled in hallucination

Dreaming about a day out-

Which you never embraced.

But… Continue

Neo Black movement of Africa (London Zone) speaks on the US Listing of Nigeria as a "country of interest" in fighting terrorism

These are extremely challenging times and certainly not the time for castigating the north or Islam. Nigeria long ago started the descent to the edge of the current abyss of religious fanaticism that we find ourselves today

Castigating the Americans or begging them for forgiveness is not the way forward; sorting out our plethora of social and political problems is. And the time to start is NOW. No matter how much we want to wish him away, young Abdulmutallab IS a Nigerian and he did… Continue

BBC Conspiracy

I wonder why BBC allow itself to be used by Turai and her band wagon to hold Nigeria to ransom?

I think its high time Nigerians stand up and fight. No more faceless internet articles. The Real place to demand for justice and equity is on the street of Nigeria's major cities...We can write all we can but those idiots do not bother or don't even have the time to read. They are busy transferring stolen money from one account to another.

Nigerians should wake… Continue

yar adua and bbc

i wonder what the world is turning into. even BBC could allow herself to be used in the nigerian dilemma. and Yar Adua too has equally enhanced the re branding campaign. we have credible media outfits like NTA,NAN,VON,AIT to name a few. He chose not to talk to any but BBC. anyway sha he tried. i wish him God's divine speed in his recovery. it is well.

The Pains of a father.(a poem)

There in tattered clothes he sat,

Lost in the confines of a deep thought,

To himself he muttered; “this must be the devil’s wrath.”

Life had brought him nothing but oats of pain;

Penniless as he was, this made him insane.

He had amassed all the degrees,

But to success he seems not to have paid his fees.

Darkness had spread across his destiny,

All his fat dreams had been made tiny.

Trickles of tears dropped down his wrinkled face

As… Continue

victory over HIV/AIDS

The solution to any problem is in the problem! God will never allow you to be tempted above what you cannot handle. He always makes a way of escape for you. He knows you can deal with the HIV virus that’s why He made the keys to divine cure available to you.

“There hath no temptation(sickness) taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able… Continue

Here are some vital questions we need to daily ask ourselves:

This place am going to, what if it is my last?

This food am eating, what if it is my last?

This clothes am wearing, what if it is my last?

This cheating am cheating, what if it is my last?

This lies am telling, what if it is my last?

This fight am fighting, what if it is my last?

This work am doing, what if it is my last?

This adultery am committing, what if it… Continue

Is Nigeria a lawless country?

When one look at the situation in this our beloved country, one will wonder if there is any law operating in Nigeria. During the April 2007 general election, "many Nigerians" came out to elect the president who can represent them well. the one who will be able to speak for them. Today, the reserve is the case. The question now is: where is this president that many Nigerians voted for? What is happenning to him? I believe many Nigerians want to see their president. Why not allow the… Continue
