On December 14, 1970, Olu Mike Omoasegun was born in Okemesi-Ekiti, in present Ekiti State, South-West, Nigeria. He was born into family of idol worshippers. He was raised by his grandmother who is an African Church member in Okemesi who introduced him to Christian life through attending early morning prayer, But Mike was arrogant to such activities.
After he graduate from secondary school in 1987, he went to Osogbo, now the state capital of Osun State where he learned how to sell furniture materials. He became born again in 1990 during a revival program organized by Christ Apostolic Church, Latona Osogbo, and later baptized on 1990.
Omoasegun was later went to Kaduna to learn a printing and publishing working. At Kaduna, he started attended Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Iyanu, where he received called to the ministry.
According to Pastor Omoasegun, he received a mandate from God during his encounter with God in June 1998, to preach the gospel around the world, and God changed his name to Omoasegun, and promised him to make the name known worldwide. This is the inaugural vision that led to the founding CAC Mikoas Prayer Ministry aka The Author of Life Ministry Online right from Seminary in 1999 through writing bulletin and tracts, and later on become an Online ministry that started in 2006 through social medias.
