Court nullifies the Provision of Section 84 (12) of the Electoral Act 2022

Yesterday, a Federal High Court sitting in Umuahia nullified the provision of Section 84 (12) of the newly signed Electoral Act 2022. The judgement of the Court was delivered by Justice Evelyn Anyadike. The court declared the subsection unconstitutional, null and void, for violating the provisions of the constitution. The court also ordered the Attorney General of the Federation to delete the said subsection from the Act. …See More
