There is suppose to be a cordial relationship between the Army and the Police, hence ESPIRIT DE CORP;which simply means the spirit of co-operation with individual.Looking at the ugly incidence,it therefore mean that, the two forces whose sole responsibility is to maintain peace and order cannot even conduct themselves properly not to talk of handling the general public and of course foreign invaders. This is not the first time this thing is happening but the federal Government should address this issue and save the country from further disgrace.

The nigerian army is a disgrace 2 d country'a police man on duty stop an army officer on illegal duty for a search and he rèfuse n wanted 2 disarm d policeman n on d process he was killed'.(1)he was not on duty(2)why tyrin 2 disarm an armed man y he knws d implication involved.the commander of d army dat release arms 2 his boys is a fool n doesn't wordy 2 be an officer.is dis how military in other countries behaved.the soldiers n d 4 policemen dat cause d vacumm dat lead to d death of d senior police officer shld be arrested n charged for murder case witout delay. May God deliver us frm all dis so -called securities of dis country' mostly Army n police.

I hear Nigeria is lobbying to be a member of the Security Council. Are we STUPID? What good is membership going to do when the USA can VETO any decision arrived at during proceedings? I am sure it means we are going to be making more contributions when we do not have 24/7 electricity and water supply; our univercities are in disarray, no proper health service; when the president of the nation has to go abroad to be treated, and we are here talking about having a seat at the Security Council. What change will that bring to the starving peoples of Nigeria?

We should be thinking of pulling out because it is a discredited organisation! The Israelis are killing Palestinians everyday and not a single leader of that country has EVER been charged by the UN for crime against humanity. They only charge Africans and small nations while it is ok for them to bomb the people of Libya! Please my people, wake up and look at the bigger picture. Sometimes I listen to some of our people who call themselves political analyst and wonder where they went to university! It is not just about the text books one has to read to obtain the degree but it is also about the experience on the ground.

Take for instance USA, where they claim they have freedom of speech and liberty and yet their citizens are not allowed to travel to Cuba. Yet these political analysts cite the USA as a FREE Country! Where is the guy that blew the whistle on the government right now? He is being held for treason because he exposed the double dealings of the US government all over the world; and they want us to believe the USA is a free and democratic country, mendacity! We do not need them but they need us because they cannot survive without our oil, cocoa, palm kennel, etc! While we can survive without their motor cars or cornflakes, etc! We MUST shine our eyes because all we do is just FOLLOW, no initiative of our own, which is really very sad! Africa, with Nigeria, has been blessed but we have corrupt and brainwashed politicians; hence they would not be wasting money that should be used for the development of the country, to try to get on the Security Council of a discredited organisation!

What is wrong with our security system??? The only persons to answer the question are our leaders and law makers before this country turns to a 'kill & go-free' country
