The Video of some members of the Nigerian Mobile Policemen executing unarmed civilians during the rescent religious riots in Bornu State  as shown worldwide on Aljazera News is rather disturbing. I think the Nigerian authorities should investigate the authenticity of the videos and take the necessary actions to refute or bring the culprits to book . Personally I won’t put it past our policemen to perpetuate such dastard acts. The revenge tendencies   of the Nigerian police have been known to supersede their rational thinking and coerced them into a spree of extra judicial killings. Such acts are not known to be part of the democracy we pursue relentlessly. These barbaric acts must stop and I call on  President Goodluck Jonathan to dig in his spurs and make a statement
