Ever heard of this word before? Soteria- that's the Grk word for salvation and it is a total package, which includes prosperity. Would you rather that all men of God preach poverty so that they may seem right in the eyes of men? check out this scripture..1John 3:2 "beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth". Take out the prosperity of the soul and you might as well take out the health and other components too. God is not against prosperity. If you do not have sufficient means to take care of your own personal affairs, not to mention the affairs of others in your world, where then is your gospel?
Believe! do not have the poor church -rat -mentality- that is only self-deception and self-delusion.
Be careful not to be judge what you do not understand.
Chief Wilson Emi Epete said:What do you expect in a system where the so-called "men of God" are living a flambouyant life and preaching prosperity instead of salvation? What business has a church got to do with the establishment of a bank?
This situation should however not discourage anybody. It is the sign of the end time. Read your Bible, believe in God and HIS Son, Jesus, and dont be deceived.
There is nothing new about this. It has happened in so many churches and cannot stop until Christ returns. I want everyone to know that not all the people that claim to be "born again' are truly are. A lot of people go to Church for one selfish reason or the other and such people can do anything to satisfy that selfish desire. Some steal from the offering box. some steal thithes, while some who are in position of trust betray such trust. These wrong doings have been programmed for the last days but woe betide anyone who will be counted among the evil doers in the Church of God. For those who are genuinly committed to the heavenly course, they should not be deterred by these anomalies. God has not changed and the gospel cannot stop because of the activities of evil men in church. They are rather bringing condamination upon themselves.
