The bid by Christ Embassy, one of the popular Pentecostal denominations in the country, to help its members inculcate the culture of saving and thrift is now becoming a thing of sorrows, as sinful members of the church have done something that has turned the house of God into a den of suspects.
In a bid to be among those who testify in church to speedy progress four members of the church engaged in what the police suspect is fraudulent in the microfinance bank, popularly known as ‘parralex,’ established in church premises in Lagos. Those person have allegedly diverted over N 60 million into two dedicated personal accounts and shared it among themselves.
The bubble, recently burst out when the security agents and auditors visited the bank.
On the last day, many person will definitely miss heaven oooooooo!!!!

It is not a surprise. Such anormally has been found in the Church of God many times over. But that does not mean that you cannot find the righteous ones in the Church. People flock to the Church for many reasons some uterior some genuine. But do not lose your focus for we each shall be rewarded according to our works.

what we preach in Nigerian is our personal pocket,am not surprise of what is happening in our today's church where people change church like fashion wears.from the pastors ambitions to the congregation has a bad mission to kill,only God know who is the real servant.as for the money realized from the poor widows and poor people of GOD that worship him in good mind,they can never have rest.,them that direct the church fund to their personal pocket..in fact they are merely existing and not living creature as long as they eat from the fund of the lord in a bad way.

theres no church without sinners in it...thats the reason for church for the perfecting of the saints...different people go to church for different reasons and christ embassy is not an exception..but we need to mind what we say about the house and men of God,whether they be right or wrong..they are answerable to God who called them into that office. mr macanthony, its not what we preach,its what u perceive as what we preach..and this is ur personal opinion,in nigeria,we still preach the undiluted word of God especially in churches like Christ Embassy, living Faith Reedemed,Church of God Mission,CACGM to mention but few...you need to be spiritual to be able to descern the truth,,,the Bible says text all spirit to prove which is right or false....Mr Ogbara if u are a christian pray hard not to put the name of God in disrepute and remain focussed to the things of God,any one can be a vessel or instrument to be used by the devil if he or she allows...there has been too much fuss wt christians about beliefs and doctrines,even in the times of jesus.....be sober be vigilant for the adversary the devil is looking for those he will devour. stay blessed

What do you expect in a system where the so-called "men of God" are living a flambouyant life and preaching prosperity instead of salvation? What business has a church got to do with the establishment of a bank?
This situation should however not discourage anybody. It is the sign of the end time. Read your Bible, believe in God and HIS Son, Jesus, and dont be deceived.

Children of God, be awake and know that the enemy(Satan)is there always.
Church building and title or position and other external things can not make one perffect.
Nigerians should wake up to their responsibility(Matt 5:48), Bible say we should be perfect.
The idea that when you die, is only time to enjoy heaven should be put into rubbish bin.
Believe in God does not mean to ignore everyday life existence and human responsibility.
Let the Government close down the churches or any worship place that are not serving public good.
Imagine, Nigeria a country with many churches here and there and at the same time, is one of the most corrupt countries in the world.
If the CAN (christian association of Nigeria) cannot take care of discipline matter among themselves, who else will take responsibility? Nigeria-Government should always be ready to protect all members of the society. Luke 17:12 "Behold, the Kingdom of heaven is within you"
While talking about corruptions among government officials, we should also find solutions to all societal ills. Some corrupt officials even run to churches or other worship places, to seek prayer help and so on.
1Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is the root of all sorts of injurious things,and by reaching out for this love some have been led astray from the faith and have stabbed themselves all over with many pains.
1Timothy 6:11
However, you, O man of God, flee from these things, But pursue righteousness, Godly devotion, faith, Love, Endurance, Mildness of Temper.
1Timothy 6:12
Fight the fine fight of the faith, get a firm hold on the everlastinglife for which you were called and you offered the public declaration in front of many witnesses.

Ever heard of this word before? Soteria- that's the Grk word for salvation and it is a total package, which includes prosperity. Would you rather that all men of God preach poverty so that they may seem right in the eyes of men? check out this scripture..1John 3:2 "beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth". Take out the prosperity of the soul and you might as well take out the health and other components too. God is not against prosperity. If you do not have sufficient means to take care of your own personal affairs, not to mention the affairs of others in your world, where then is your gospel?
Believe! do not have the poor church -rat -mentality- that is only self-deception and self-delusion.
Be careful not to be judge what you do not understand.

There is nothing wrong to expose the ills of the churches etc.
Jesus christ himself in the past, entered the synagogue and chase out the people, who are
using the place of worship for their personal business purposes.
So, if we have been warned in the about the these happenings in the churches b4 now.
This is the right time to expose those darkness( Wolf in sheeps clothings etc)
Light and darkness can not be together.
In fact children of God are meant to be good examples to the unbeleivers, not the opposite.
