SHOULD FG ALLOW THE KILLERS OF SLAIN CORPS MEMBERS GO UNPUNISHED?
Someone categorically stated in my office yesterday afternoon that a sacrifice must be paid for something to be achieved. My question is "must the sacrifice be accepted only when the Christians are murdered, churches set on ablaze and Christians rendered homeless?"
The ideas of our leaders keeping mute all times and allow religious fanatics send innocent citizens to grave is becoming so alarming and unbearable. What do we tell the parents of the deceased? Should Easterners, Southerners and Westerners still allow their graduates to be sent to Northern part of the country in the name of NYSC again?
On Monday, I read Tinubu imploring Federal Government to compensate the family of the slain Corps Members as if that is enough to console the families of the deceased or consumerate with the great lost.
No one has suggested any concrete appropriate penalty for the killers. The crux of the matter is that if nothing is done this time; 2015 will record high percentage of Northern merciless killing exercise. Do we have to cross our legs, fold our arms and allow this ugly trend happen again?
If any Nigerian is comfortable with this, then that person should be sure of accepting greater tragedy or calamity of his life and family.

Lady,u've said it all. People of goodwill-even I-have said as much or more. There's a proverb in my language that says: "The child that breaks a bottle of palm oil does not get the effect of what he has done that same day". The core Northern muslims/elites c** politicians have set a bad,undeletable, and important reference in the history of this country. If I can personally meet any member of the family of the slain corpers,I will advice/assist him/her to take a legal action against the FG and, among other things, demand that a national memorial day be set aside as public holiday every year to remember the dead corpers. And as part of the demand,that the Governors of the State where they were killed be made to pay tributes to their tombs as part of the activities marking the memorial day celebration each year. If I were to be personally affected by the death of these corpers... Well, let me swallow my anger...

My dear,outside your suggestions; an appropriate Penalty suppose to be Heavily mounted on the Culprits for being unruly and for taken laws into their hands.If President Goodluck and Legislature refuse to do something tangible, then that will make the beginning of their indelible failure.

What should the government do? Who should they hold responsible? Buhari? CPC? The jobless youths who are easily misled with a few bowls of free food? This is my solution to this whole youth corp nonsense; keep everyone in their states, since they are now being killed by home-grown Nigerian terrorists. If any of those animals were actually caught by the law, they should be prosecuted under universal terrorism laws

The ruling elites are 'patching' and managing the 'licking' and fake unity of One Nigeria at expense of the middle class and ordinary citizens. So, the death of those innocent Nigerians do not matter to them. Read my earlier comment on this issue and see its long term benefits and advantages. If u don't see them,then I wil start analysing them one after the other using 2 world examples of where such suggestions are working. There should be the willpower by the Govt to bring the offenders to book-good and I want that. But still important is to have a national culture that wil prevent the future occurence of such barbaric pogroms.
