Iam a pessimist when it comes to election promises. I do not believe the Politicians when they make election promises because experience has taught me that they do the opposite after the mandate had been surrendered to them. But, Owelle Rochas Okorocha appears ready t prove me wrong, that afterall there are exceptions. He started by cutting down the security vote from four billion to two billion. He also cut the tertiary school fees down by 30%. He promised to pay the state civil servants N20000 minimum wage, above the federal govt's N18000. He has started paying the primary school pupils monthly bursry allowance of N100,among others. And the question is: is Okorocha playing to the gallery for cheap avation, or has he succeeded in doing what Napoleon could not do.
