If Mr. Ouattara fail to protect Gbagbo, he’ll lose popularity and his party will gradually go down the drain. I said this not because Gbagbo is good or an ex president figure that deserve to be protected because he does not, if not for theory of forgive and forget and leave revenge for God, he deserved to be executed for causing lost of so many life and properties.

But because Mr. Gbagbo is a human being under same right to trial before execution like all human being of all democratic nation, he must be protected and giving fair treatment till his trial commence.

Meanwhile, his son and wife should be release from Mr. Ouattara custody and allowed to carry out their daily life like every other Ivorian so long they don’t get involve in anti state activities.

Mr. Gbagbo should face his music with his top ranking military supporters, not with his family.

Is Gbagbo more important than those people lost their lives and properties as a result of his stupidity? He had the opportunity to honourably get out of the seat but he choosed otherwise so he should face the music that ''otherwise'' places. Our leaders and People should learn from all these events.

Mr. Okafor, I want you to know that no one is above the law.  Gbagbo is not more important than the innocent lives that were wasted in the senseless civil war that he caused.  Gbagbo is simply selfish and greedy.  If he were a true statesman as you want us to believe, he would have accepted defeat the moment the election result was announced.  He should be tried and sentenced accordingly.
