Muslim Belief

This is a true story and the author, Rick Mathes, is a well-known leader in the prison ministry.

The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion per capita in the United States, especially amongst the minority races!!!

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant, and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their beliefs.

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.

After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.

When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked: 'Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?' There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, 'Non-believers!'

I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?'

The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.'

He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.'

I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith, or Dr. Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!'

The Imam was speechless!

I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me!

Let me ask you a question: Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?'

You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame. Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the Diversification training seminar were not happy with my way of dealing with the Islamic Imam, and exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs.

In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the President!

I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!

This is your chance to make a difference...

Now to start from your last challenge, no muslim world over will speak ill of Jesus no matter the provocation, and also i will not like to use abusive words on you because the bible says in proverb 26:4 " do not answer a fool according to his folly, lest you also be like him" so i don't want to be like you...... may God forgive you on your attack on Prophet Muhammed.

On the issue of alcohol, there are three different stages of the forbidding of alcohol for the muslims, before the advent of Muhammad, the Arabs were sink and soked in all illicit activities including drinking, killing of female children, treating women unjustly and seeing women not to be equal to men. This period is called Jahiliyya period ( period of ignorance ). but when he came every thing changed for good among the arabs and the whole world.... The first commandment on alcohol is the one that say oh you believers, stay clear of alcohol because the evil effect of it is more than the advantage. Q2:219....... yet some of them still indulge in it then came the second injunction that says oh ye believers do not go close to mosque or offer a prayer ( worship ) on to God whenever you under the influence of alcohol.. Q4:43 ( the second overwrite the first )...... and finally came Q5:90-91 that finally put unconditional stop on alcohol...

On the second verse you qouted, its not refering to this world but hereafter, it also not refering to what we know to be alcohol int his world but not intoxicating alcohol..... i think you are cleared on that.

On the issue of Jihad that you qouted in your earlier message, no where in the Quran is Muslim enjoyed to kill for fun but for self defence, trace all the war that was fault in the earlier years of islam, all of them are in defence of their citizen and territory....... to go a little into history, when Prophet Muhammad was sent out of his home town and went to medina, did he fought the people to gain acceptance, NO.... After he and the religion of islam was accepted by the people of medina and decided to go back to medina with multitude of followers, he has the forces and power to declare war on the people of mecca but he never did because its against the teaching of islam to take vengiance but to forgive.. I know you are being confused by what you google browsed, but you can know better if you can genuinelly study the holy prophet of islam and the quran it self.. donot just qoute a verse without knowing the preceeding verses that gives more insight into what you are quoting....

Also have the followings for you;

The creation story
GENESIS 1: The Seven Days Creation Story

Day 1 - Light and darkness: day and night
Day 2 - A "vault" separating the 'waters' that make up the oceans and the (blue) sky
Day 3 - Earth, followed by plants
Day 4 - The Sun, Moon and stars (as calendrical and navigational aids)
Day 5 - Animals
Day 6 - Humans (both sexes at the same time - many of them, apparently)
Day 7 - A day of rest

Note that there are "days", "evenings", and "mornings" before the Sun was created.

GENESIS 2: The Story of Adam in Eden

First, God made earth and heaven.
Then he placed Adam on an otherwise lifeless Earth.
Next he made plants grow in Eden, including the trees of life and of knowledge of good and evil.
Then he placed Adam in this garden.
Only then did he create animals.
Finally, he made Eve from Adam's rib. (The rest is history - or so literalists would say.)

In the American civil war, churches cited the numerous pro-slavery verses in the Bible as justification. And indeed, according to the Bible, slavery is clearly justified as there are only a very few, highly ambiguous, anti-slavery quotes and many emphatic statements in favour of slavery. The word servant comes from the original Greek word for slave - this is just some creative translation.

MATTHEW 12:40 has Jesus prophesying that he will spend "three days and three nights in the heart of the earth", and MARK 10:34 has "after three days (meta treis emeras) he will rise again". As far as I can see from a quick look, the prophecies have "after three days", but the post-resurrection narratives have "on the third day".

GENESIS 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

GENESIS 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

GENESIS 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

Is it folly to be wise or not?
PROVERBS 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

ECCLESIASTES 1:18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that in- creaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

1 CORINTHIANS1:19: "For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and wil bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."

Should good deeds be publicised or not?
MATTHEW 5:16 says "In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." (NIV)

So Jephthah passed over unto the children of Ammon . . . and the Lord delivered them into his hands. . . . And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: . . . And it came to pass at the end of two months, that she returned unto her father, who did with her according to his vow which he had vowed."
•2 SAMUEL 21:8-14 "But the king [David] took the two sons of Rizpah . . . and the five sons of Michal . . . and he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them in the hill before the Lord: and they fell all seven together, and were put to death in the days of harvest . . . •II SAMUEL 21:8 "But the king took the two sons of Rizpah . . . and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul."
When was Jesus born?
According to Matthew, Jesus was born during the reign of Herod the Great (Matthew 2:1). Herod died in March of 4 B.C., so Jesus had to have been born BEFORE that time. According to Luke, Jesus was born during the first census in Israel, while Quirinius was governor of Syria (Luke 2:2). This census took place in 6 AD and 7 AD, about 10 years after Herod's death.

How old was Ahaziah when he began to reign?
22 in 2 KINGS 8:26

42 in 2 CHRONICLES 22:2

How old was Jehoiachin when he became King?
8 in CHRONICLES 36:9

The number of animals in the ark
GENESIS 7:2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.

GENESIS 7:8 Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth, GEN 7:9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.

Hares
LEVITICUS 11:6 And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

This may not contradict anything the Bible says, but it does clash with reality - hares don't chew cud.

The shape of the earth
ISAIAH 40:22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in

MATTHEW 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them

As everyone now knows, the earth is spherical, so you cannot see its entire surface from any one place. Even the kingdoms the Bible's authors knew of could not have been seen from "an exceeding high mountain."

Should we swear an oath?
HEBREWS 6:13-17 says "For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself . . . for men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife. Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath." But JAMES 5:12 clearly says ". . . swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation."

The sins of the father
ISAIAH 14:21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

DEUTERONOMY 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

Was Jesus a peaceful man?
•JOHN 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you."
•ACTS 10:36 "The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ."
•LUKE 2:14 " . . . on earth peace, good will toward men."
vs.

•MATTHEW 10:34 "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household."
•LUKE 22:36 "Then said he unto them, . . . he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one."
Does God change his mind?
•MALACHI 3:6 "For I am the Lord; I change not."
Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent."
•EZEKIEL 24:14 "I the Lord have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent."
•JAMES 1:17 " . . . the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."
vs.

•EXODUS 32:14 "And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people."
•GENESIS 6:6,7 "And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth . . . And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth . . . for it repenteth me that I have made him."
•JONAH 3:10 ". . . and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not."
How are we saved?
"For by grace are we saved through faith...not of works" EPHESIANS 2:8-9.

"...and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works" REVELATION 20:13.

"Ye see then that by works a man is justified, not by faith only. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also" JAMES 2:26

What happened to Judas?
MATTHEW 27:5 states that he threw down his silver, ran from the temple, and hanged himself. ACTS 1:16-19 states, however, that he bought some land with his money, and that he had a fall, causing him "to burst open in the middle" so that his "bowels gushed out. And it became known to all of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the field was called in their language Akaldama, that is, Field of Blood."

Jesus' last words on the cross
"And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, eli, lama sabachthani?" that is to say, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" [PSALMS 22:1] ...Jesus, when he cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost." (MATTHEW 27:46-50)
But . . .
"And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, "Father, unto thy hands I commend my spirit:" and having said thus, he gave up the ghost." (LUKE 23:46)
But . . .
"When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, "It is finished:" and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost." (JOHN 19:30)
sorry Mr Idogho, i don't think you know what you are saying cos thats not what Islam teaches. pls read more on what you don't know. Don't hesitate to ask me any reasonable question on Islam. e-mail:- [email protected] Thanks.
YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY POINT HERE, YOU ONLY BEAT ABOUT THE BUSH, GOD IS NOT A GOD OF CONFUSSION, WHETHER ISAIAH PERIOD, MOSES PERIOD, JESUS PERIOD OR THE SEAL OF ALL, MUHAMMAD, GOD IS A CONSISTENT AND STRAIGHT FORWARD CREATOR, HE WILL NOT TELL MR A ONE THING AND TELL B ANOTHER THING ON THE SAME TOPIC.

WHAT YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ABOUT NUMEROUS DIFFERENCES IN THE BIBLE IS THAT, THERE ARE THREE DIFFERENT WORDS IN THE BIBLE, I.E WORD OF GOD SPOKEN THROUGH JESUS AND PROPHET BEFORE HIM 2. WORDS NOT SPOKEN BUT ALLEGED TO HAVE BEEN SPOKEN BY JESUS 3. PERSONAL ( BUT CONTRADICTORY ) WORDS AND ACCOUNT OF APOSTLES AFTER JESUS (E.G PAUL, WHO NEVER MET OR SAW JESUS IN HIS LIFE ).

IF YOU CHECK CRITICALLY MOST THINGS WE HAVE IN THE BIBLE ARE WORD OF MAN HENCE THE CONTRADICTIONS

THANK GOD YOU NEVER DENY THE THE DIFFERENCES YOU ONLY ASSIGN DIFF PERSONALITY TO THE DIFFERENCES.. what a response ! BUT GOD IS NOT A GOD OF CONFUSSION.

MATTHEW 6:3-4, though, says "But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secert. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." (NIV)

Did those with Saul/Paul at his conversion hear a voice?
ACTS 9:7 "And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man."

ACTS 22:9 "And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me."

Who killed Saul?
SAMUEL 1 31:4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.

SAMUEL 2 1:15 And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.

When will the second coming come?
MATTHEW 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

MARK 13:30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

LUKE 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

Ahmed, i will advice u go back to my write up. I talk of the Apostles being refered to as "Christ like" and not Paul. When you want to refer to something that is said by somebody as a lie, please make sure you are very correct or certain about the fact. Between you and me, i don't know who is lied.
THE ARGUEMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE WAS ABOUT THE ORIGIN OF CHRISTIANITY WHICH YOU SAID ORIGINATED FROM JESUS OF WHICH I DISAGREED AND GAVE AVIDENCE THAT IT ACTUALLY CAME FROM PAUL, ALL OTHER APOSTLES ARE IN MINORITY AS FAR AS ORIGIN AND PRSENT DAY CHRISTIANITY IS CONCERN..... IN CASE YOU DON'T KNOW.. THERE ARE 26 BOOKS IN THE NEW TESTAMENT 80 PERCENT OF WHICH WAS WRITTEN BY PAUL WHO NEVER SAW OR MET JESUS THROUGHOUT HIS LIFE TIME, SO MY SISTER, WILL I BE WRONG IF I BASE MY PREMISE OF APOSTLES ON PAUL ?.

YOUR INFORMATION ON THE AGE OF AISHAT IS WRONG... IT WAS NORMAL PRACTICE AMONG THE ARABS TO GIVE OUT THE HAND OF THEIR DAUGHTER AT EARLIER AGE... LET ME ENLIGHTEN YOU MORE ON THIS, WHEN THE FATHER OF AISHAT WAS MET ON BEHALF OF THE HOLY PROPHET, HE TOLD THEM HE HAS TO SETTLE THE REQUEST WITH ANOTHER MAN ( JABAR ) THAT CAME EARLIER FOR HE SAME PURPOSE, THIS SHOWED THAT SHE WAS MATURE AND RIPE ENOUGH FOR MARRIAGE AT THE TIME.

ALSO FOR YOUR INFORMATIOM, THEY HAD THEIR NIKKAH WHEN AISHAT WAS 15 YEARS OF AGE BUT JOINED THE PROPHET IN HIS HOUSE THREE YEARS LATER, WHICH MEANS SHE WAS 18+ WHEN SHE JOINED THE HOLY PROPHET AND NOT SIX WHICH IS AGAINST COMMON SENSE..... HOPE YOU ARE CLEARED.

Am proud to be called servant of Allah and not a senseless sheep as you are called in the bible.john 10:1-16, psalm 23:1

you said Jesus saw God go and check 1st john 4:12 " no has ever saw God before " if you go against this that means you don't believe in the bible

On the issue of servant read mathew 12:18, where God address Jesus as servant, mr man do obey God because the bible says "you are the servsnt of whom you obey" read Roman 6:16-22... i obey god and am pleased to be called servant of God.

According to the bible Jesus did not bring peace but sword Mathew 10:34

jesus is sent only to the loss sheep of isrelite not the world read Mathew 15:24.... there are twelve tribes in isreal and Jesus had twelve diciples see mathew 10:1-5 for their names, the twelve disciples are to judge the twelve tribes mathew 19:28.... my friend where do you belong ?

according to the bib le jesus ordered his desciple to steal mathew 21:1-3

On the issue of saviorship there is no saviour but God the creator of jesus read Isaih 43:10-11 " am the God beside me there is no other saviour " ....not even jesusalso check Hosea 13:4 " beside God no other saviour"please and please still check Isaiah 45:15-21... still go further to check Luke 1:46-47.....

my friend if you think somebody has taken away your sins you better have a rethink and find the true face of God because jesus has already declared that by himself, he can do nothing" also don't forget what the bible say that "the father will not be punish for the sin of the son, neither will the son be punish for the sin of the father, but every soul shall be put to death on the account of his sin"

I SONT NEED TO COMPARE OUR LORD AND MR MOHAMMED BUT JUST FOR THE SAKE OF CLARITY

Following is a chart that shows some of the strong differences between Jesus and Mohammed. The Muslims revere Mohammed as the greatest of prophets, yet Jesus clearly demonstrated greater authority, teaching, and miracles than Mohammed ever did. Why would anyone want to follow Mohammed over Jesus when Jesus claimed to be divine, performed many miracles, said he alone was the truth, raised people from the dead, and rose from the dead himself and Mohammed did none of these things. However, Mohammed did have people killed, spread his religion through war, married a very young girl and had relations with her when she was nine years of age, and taught hatred of Jews and Christians.
Jesus Muhammad
Death Jesus died and rose from the dead Muhammad died and stayed dead.
Fighting Jesus never fought Muhammad fought many many times

Hearing from God When Jesus heard from God he went to the desert to be tempted and began his ministry with boldness, (Mark 1:14-15). When Muhammad heard from God (supposedly through an angel) he cowered, was uncertain, and wanted to commit suicide (Quran 74:1-5)
Identity Jesus claimed to be God (John 8:24; 8:58) as well as a man.
Jesus claimed to be the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Muhammad claimed to be a man.
Instructions Received From God the Father (John 5:19) Allegedly from an angel
Killing Jesus never killed anyone Muhammad killed many
Life Jesus had the power to take life, but never did. He restored it. Muhammad had the power to take it, but he

never restored it.
No one ever died in Jesus' presence Many people died in Muhammad's presence -- he killed them.
Marriage Jesus never married Muhammad had over 12wives/Cconcubines and even married a 6
year old girl.
Ministry Jesus received his calling from God directly (Matt. 3:17).

Jesus received his commission in the daylight
Muhammad allegedly received it from an angel (Gabriel)

Muhammad received his words in the darkness of a cave.
Ministry Length Jesus taught for 3 1/2 years Muhammad taught for more than 20 years
Miracles Jesus performed many miracles including healing people, calming a storm with a command, and raising people from the dead. Muhammad's only alleged miracle was the Quran.
Prophecy Jesus fulfilled biblical prophecy about being the Messiah Muhammad did not fulfill any biblical prophecy except the ones about false teachers (Matt. 24:24).
Sacrifice Jesus voluntarily laid his life down for others Muhammad saved his own life many times and had others

killed.
Sin Jesus never sinned (1 Pet. 2:22) Muhammad was a sinner (Quran 40:55; 48:1-2)
Slaves Jesus owned no slaves Muhammad owned slaves.
Virgin Birth Jesus was virgin born Muhammad was not virgin born.
Voice of God Jesus received and heard the direct voice of God (Mark 1:10-11) Muhammad did not receive or hear the direct voice of God. It was an angel instead.
Women Jesus spoke well of women Muhammad said women were 1/2 as smart as men (Hadith 3:826;
2:541), that the majority in hell will be women (Had. 1:28,301; 2:161; 7:124), and that women could be
mortgaged.

There is no comparison between Jesus and Muhammad. Muhammad falls so far short that he cannot be held on any level remotely close to Jesus. Muhammad is clearly inferior to Christ.

2:23. if you have doubts about our revelations to our servant ( Mohammad) call on your martyrs (Shohadaikum). It should be call on your partners ( Shorakaikum) as no one would call on the dead people to witness anything.

86:7 human sperms originate from between the back and the ribs, which contradicts the science of embryology which stresses that sperms originate from the testicles.

4: 78, 79. Verse 78 says that all actions good or evil come from God while the verse 79 says that good comes from God while evil comes from humans, an obvious contradiction.

37:139-145 Jona ( Younis) was ejected from the belly of the whale, while in 68:48-49 Jona was not ejected. Which is it ejected or not ejected?

2:6-7 God blinded the unbelievers as he closed their hearts, their vision and their hearing. Why would the loving God, who wanted everyone to believe, do that?

2:10 The kuffars are sick in their hearts and God increased their sickness. Is that logical that God would increase their sickness instead of healing them?

2: 264 God does not guide the Kuffars. Really? Isn't like the physician who would not treat the sick? Who needs guidance the believer or the unbeliever?

4:88 Do you want to guide those that God had misled? Is that possible that the all loving God would mislead His own creatures?

6:149 If God wished He would have guided all of you. Status quo proves then that God did not wish to guide all! Obviously he did not want everyone to believe.

13: 33 If God misleads his creature no one can guide them. Again is it possible that the most merciful not only misleads his creatures but He does not want anyone else to guide them.

14:4 God misleads whoever He wants and guide whoever He wants. Aren't we here witnessing God's racism when He is being selective in guidance?

91:8 God inspires humans their good and evil. If God, in His unlimited capability, inspires good and evil for all beings, then we are either doomed or saved right from the beginning and we have no other alternative. Repentance means nothing when such a decision was already made.

18:83-86 Zu-El Qarnin found out that the sun sets in a h*** of murky water. Really? The sun which is so much larger than the earth would set in a murky h*** on the same earth. Those who claim that such a statement is attributed only to Zu-Al Qarnin are easily debunked by the holy hadeeth where Mohammad confirms the setting of the sun in a h*** of murky water to Abu-Darr.

23:12-14 in Quranic embryology a stage is reached when it becomes bones then the bones are dressed with flesh ! Ignoring of course that the two flesh and bones are developed simultaneously in humans.

17:1 Mohammad visited Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa. The problem is that there was no Masjid Al-Aqsa nor any other masjid during the life of Mohammad since Islam entered Palestine after Omar Bin El Khattab conquered Palestine after the death of the prophet. Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa was built almost sixty years after the death of Mohammad by Marwan bin Abdelmalik.

23:14 blessed Allah the best of all creators. How many creators do we have?

88: 20 The earth has been flattened. An obvious contradiction to simple science.

19:25 Shake the palm tree talking to Mary. First of all Bethlehem is a mountainous city where no palm trees grow anyway. Secondly dates from a palm tree mature in the summer time not the cold winter of December. Thirdly Christ was born in a manger. Fourthly it takes a superman to be able to shake the trunk of a palm tree.

5: 73 He blasphemes who says that God is one of three gods. Not defending Christianity, but no Christian claims that there are three gods. Obviously Mohammad was confused about the trinity which describes God as one with three different characters. Of course this claim is debatable.

31:10 God created the heavens and supported them with invisible pillars. Obviously Mohammad thought that the sky is nothing but some kind of a big tent which needs pillars to support it, but invisible (since we can't see them). One should wonder about the millions of airplanes that fly everywhere without bumping into them!

71:15-16 God created the seven stories heavens and made the moon as a source of light in these heavens. The earth could hardly be seen by any distant star within the first level of heaven, let alone its moon. How then the same moon would light up the environment in other levels when it could hardly be seen or light our first level of heavens?

The poor authors of tafseer could not come up with any credible explanations to any of the above, as they naively try in vain to unveil the above contradictions. ANOTHER ONE BELOW:

Creation:

The biblical Genesis account says God created all in six days (see Genesis 1:1 - 2:2). The Quran, however, has a real problem here as Surah 41:9, 10, 12 have a total of eight days of creation (4+2+2=8) Meanwhile, Surah 10:3 gives the total number of days of creation as six. This is a problem of self-contradiction.

Pharaoh: According to the Quran (Surah 7:120-125) Pharaoh used crucifixion in dealing with the sorcerers - a practice which historical evidence gives no precedent to before the Babylonian Empire. This is once again a problem of historical compression.

The Golden Calf: According to the Quran (Surah 20:90-100)a Samaritan helped the Israelites build the golden calf, and it mooed after coming out of the fire. In reality, Samaritans did not exist as a people until at least 1000 years after the time of the Moses and the Israelite exodus from Egypt. Again a problem of historical compression.

Judaism: According to the Quran (Surah 9:30) the Jews believe that Ezra is the Son of God - the Messiah. This never has been a tenet of Judaism. This is a clear problem of distorted knowledge of other religions and historical fact.

Alexander the Great: According to the Quran (Surah 18:89-98) Alexander the Great was a devout Muslim and lived to a ripe old age. Historical records however show that Alexander the Great died young at 33 years of age (b. 356 B.C. - d. 323 B.C.), and believed he was divine, forcing others to recognize him as such. In India on the Hyphasis River (now Beas) Alexander erected twelve altars to twelve Olympian gods. Once again the Quran shows errors in historical and religious fact.

The Trinity: According to the Quran (Surah 5:116, 5:73-75) the Christians believe in "three Gods" - Father, Mother, and Son. This shows the influence of heretical 'Christian' sects in central Arabia at the time of Muhammad. In contrast, Christianity has always distinctly stated that the Trinity is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The teaching of the Quran on the Trinity has undoubtedly led to confusion among many Muslims on what the Bible (and thus Christianity) teaches about the Triune God.

Mary: According to the Quran (Surah 19:28, 3:33-36), Mary, the mother of Jesus, was the daughter of Imran or Amram, the father of Moses and Aaron. Mary is also said to be the sister of Moses and Aaron. Clearly Muhammad confused Mary with Miriam.
A second interesting point about Mary is the story of the date palm speaking and offering its fruit to her (Surah 19:23). This legend is easily traced to similar legends found in the apocryphal "Protoevangelium of James" the "Pseudo-Matthew" and "the Gospel of the Nativity of Mary" all of which have been dated to the fourth to sixth centuries, and were again believed by the sects found in Arabia. (More indepth information on Quranic sources may be found in Rev. W. St. Clair Tisdall's The Religion of the Crescent).

Textual Variants in the Quran: Many Muslims claim that the Quran today is identical to the revelations received by Muhammad. However, there is overwhelming unanswered evidence to the contrary. This includes evidence of variations both prior to, and after Uthman.

How do we view and respond to these unresolved problems of logic, history and religious knowledge? While they do not serve as the basis for our belief that the Quran is not the revelation of God (as there are issues of far greater consequence between the message of the Bible and the message of the Quran), they do show us that there are legitimate problems with the belief that the Quran is God's revelation to man, as God who is all knowing and infallible could not give statements of error, and then claim them as His Truth. As Christians we find the answer in the Bible. Numbers 23 tells us...AHMED I AM WAITING

Also have the followings for you;

Should we own slaves?
•LEVITICUS 25:45-46 "Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, . . . and they shall be your possession . . . they shall be your bondmen forever."
•GENESIS 9:25 "And he [Noah] said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren."
•EXODUS 21:2,7 "If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing. . . . And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the manservants do."
•JOEL 3:8 "And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the Lord hath spoken it."
•LUKE 12:47,48 [Jesus speaking] "And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes."
•COLOSSIANS 3:22 "Servants, obey in all things your masters."
vs.

•ISAIAH 58:6 "Undo the heavy burdens . . . let the oppressed go free, . . . break every yoke."
•MATTHEW 23:10 "Neither be ye called Masters: for one is your Master, even Christ."

Should we steal?
•EXODUS 20:15 "Thou shalt not steal."
•LEVITICUS 19:13 "Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbor, neither rob him."
vs.

•EXODUS 3:22 "And ye shall spoil the Egyptians."

And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him. . . . And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt? And they said, The Lord hath need of him."
God good to all, or just a few?
PSALMS 145:9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

JEREMIAH 13:14 And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the Lord: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them.

How long was Jesus in the tomb?
MATTHEW 12:40 has Jesus prophesying that he will spend "three days and three nights in the heart of the earth", and MARK 10:34 has "after three days (meta treis emeras) he will rise again". As far as I can see from a quick look, the prophecies have "after three days", but the post-resurrection narratives have "on the third day".

What was Jesus given to drink?
MATTHEW 27:34 says vinegar. MARK 15:23 says it was wine with myrhh.

War or Peace?
EXODUS 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

ROMANS 15:33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

(ie. against)

MARK 9:40 For he that is not against us is on our part.

LUKE 9:50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.
(ie. for)

Which first--beasts or man?
GENESIS 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

•2 SAMUEL 21:8-14 "But the king [David] took the two sons of Rizpah . . . and the five sons of Michal . . . and he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them in the hill before the Lord: and they fell all seven together, and were put to death in the days of harvest . . . But...

18 in 2 KINGS 24:8

I WILL LIKE TO TAKE YOU UP FROM YOUR LAST STATEMENT WHICH SHOWED A LOT OF DEFFICIENCY IN THE WAY YOU REASON ATIMES..... YES I HAVE BEEN QUOTING THE BIBLE AND NOT THE QURAN TO DRIVE HOME MY POINT,.. WHAT THIS ONE SIMPLY MEAN IS THAT A LOT OF BIBLE VERSES CONTRADICT EACH OTHER WHICH RENDERS IT MORE OR LESS WORD OF MAN AND NOT WORDS OF GOD..... I THINK YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THE BIBLE YOU CARRY ABOUT, BECAUSE WHENEVER YOU QUOTE A VERSE ITS VERY EASY FOR ANOTHER PERSON TO BEAT YOU IN ARGUEMENT QUOTING FROM THE SAME BOOK....

ON THE HOLY PROPHET OF ISLAM DO YOU KNOW THERE IS PREDICTION OF HIS COMING IN THE BIBLE ? IF YOU WANT TO KNOW I WILL TELL YOU.

DEUT 18:18 "I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him." THIS STATEMENT WAS DIRECTED TO MOSES, NOW LETS ANALYSE THIS VERSE

1 " AMONG THEIR BRETHEN'" SURELY THE BRETHEN OF ISREALITES ARE THE ARABS ( remeber ismael and isaac )
2 " LIKE UNTO THEE" JESUS WAS NOT IN ANY WAY LIKE MOSES, WHY ?
A. Jesus was not like moses because moses was never called son of God or God
b.Moses was not crusified n or did he have to ressurect

MUHAMMAD WAS LIKE MOSES BECAUSE:
A. LIKE MOSES, HE HAD FATHER AND MOTHER
B. LIKE MOSES MUHAMMAD WAS MARRIED AND BLESSED WITH CHILDREN, JESUS WAS A BACHELLOR
C. LIKE MOSES MUHAMMAD BROUGHT NEW LAWS BUT JESUS DID NOT ( CHECK MAT 5:17-19 ) IF YOU STILL NOT SATISFIED LETS GO FURTHER..

MATHEW 21:42-43 CONFIRMED BY JESUS CHRIST "21:42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

NOW WHICH STONE IS JESUS TALKING ABOUT ? PLEASE DO NOT FORGET THAT HAGAR WAS SENT OUT TO ARABIAN DESERT WITH HER SON, THE STONE HERE ARE THE ARABS THAT HAS BEEN REJECTED BY ISREALITE..

B... KINGDOM OF GOD TAKEN AWAY FROM ISREAL AND GIVEN TO WHOM ? THAT IS THE ARABS I/E MUHAMMAD

ALSO JOHN 14:26 JESUS SAID MENTION MUHAMMAD BY NAME" 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. " WHAT IS THE MEANING OF MUHAMMAD ? COMFORTER, PLEASE CHECK IT OUT !

ALSO JOHN 15: 26 JESUS SAID "

26But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:" CHECT THE QURAN AND HADITH TO SEE WHAT GOD AND MUHAMMAD SAID ABOUT JESUS ..

WHAT FURTHER EVIDENCE DO YOU WANT ? PLEASE GENUINELY BOWL DOWN AND SEEK THE FORGIVENESS OF GOD FOR DEROGATORY UTTERANCES ON THE SEAL OF ALL PROPHET..... OH, YAA MUHAMMAD ROSULLULLAH

FOR YOUR INFORMATION AM NOT A THEOOLOGIAN !

you said Jesus saw God go and check 1st john 4:12 " no has ever saw God before " if you go against this that means you don't believe in the bible

UR STYLE LOOKS SO OUTDATED, WHAT EVIDENCE U GAVE? HELLO MISS OR MRS AYAKOR PLS DONT LISTEN TO THIS LIAR...THERE ARE NO 26VERSES NEW TESTAMENT,IT IS 27 VERSES...AND WHAT EVIDENCE HAS..THE WAY HE TALKS MAKE ME FEEL SORRY FOR HIM...IN CHRISTIANITY WE DONT HAVE MINORITY OR NAJORITY APOSTLES.AS A CHRISTIAN IF I AM PIOUS AND DO THE WILL OF GOD THROUGH CHRIST I WILL BE KNITTED WITH THE PREDECESSOR IN HEAVEN.ALSO, JESUS IS OUR LORD AND AS A SUPERNATURAL BEING HE HAS INSPIRED APOSTLE PAUL, PAUL NEEDS NOT TO SEE HIM PHYSICALLY BEFORE WRITTING ABOUT HIM.

Women Jesus spoke well of women Muhammad said women were 1/2 as smart as men (Hadith 3:826;

IN CASE YOU DON'T KNOW.. 2:23. if you have doubts about our revelations to our servant ( Mohammad) call on your martyrs (Shohadaikum).

On the issue of servant read mathew 12:18, where God address Jesus as servant, mr man do obey God because the bible says "you are the servsnt of whom you obey" read Roman 6:16-22... i obey god and am pleased to be called servant of God.

According to the bible Jesus did not bring peace but sword Mathew 10:34

jesus is sent only to the loss sheep of isrelite not the world read Mathew 15:24.... there are twelve tribes in isreal and Jesus had twelve diciples see mathew 10:1-5 for their names, the twelve disciples are to judge the twelve tribes mathew 19:28.... my friend where do you belong ?

my friend if you think somebody has taken away your sins you better have a rethink and find the true face of God because jesus has already declared that by himself, he can do nothing" also don't forget what the bible say that "the father will not be punish for the sin of the son, neither will the son be punish for the sin of the father, but every soul shall be put to death on the account of his sin"

Women Jesus spoke well of women Muhammad said women were 1/2 as smart as men (Hadith 3:826;

Ahmed, i will advice u go back to my write up. I talk of the Apostles being refered to as "Christ like" and not Paul. When you want to refer to something that is said by somebody as a lie, please make sure you are very correct or certain about the fact. Between you and me, i don't know who is lied.
I don't belief this write-up. There is no way a Muslim Cleric, that expected to be well learned in Islamic teachings and principles will utter such words. For your information, there is nowhere in the Holy Quran where any human being is commanded by God Almighty to kill another human being.
This article is joke and should be discouraged. The writer exhibits a great sense of naivety. I am christian and a good one and this writer is myopic enough not to know that the first religion spread by force was Christianity by the Crusaders. The Crusades were a series of religiously sanctioned military campaigns waged by much of Latin Christian Europe, particularly the Franks of France and the Holy Roman Empire. The specific crusades to restore Christian control of the Holy Land were fought over a period of nearly 200 years, between 1095 and 1291. The Crusades were fought mainly against Muslims, although campaigns were also waged against pagan Slavs, Jews, Russian and Greek Orthodox Christians, Mongols, Cathars, Hussites, Waldensians, Old Prussians, and political enemies of the popes. If Christianity started this rampage, what justification does the writer has to pull wool over our eyes on this figment of his imagination that Muslims are guaranteed a place in heaven if they kill unbelievers.
