Umar Mohammed Bago of the CPC got 34,925 to place him ahead of other contestants in Chanchaga (Minna) Federal Constituency. Hassan Nuhu of the PDP got 13,098 votes to rank second and Dattijo Aliyu of Alliance Congress of Nigeria got 2,969 votes, Usman Kwatu All Nigerian Peoples Party 1,605 votes, Cecile Okeshola 578 votes and Ahmed Kassim of the APS got 178 votes.

In Bosso/Paikoro Federal Constituency, Mr James Ba’atchi of the PDP was returned with 23,254 votes having a slim edge against the ANPP candidate, Salihu Adamu who got 23,137 with only 17 votes.
