I wonder what the fuss is all about of IBB declaring his intention to contest for election come 2011. Its baffles me that Nigerians are still talking about what happened about 18 years ago. Is Nigeria a tree that cannot be changed? I believe 4 years is too expensive to make Nigeria a better place, if
only it’s a serious nation especially when we have all the resources at our disposal. Some selfish individuals are busy tagging IBB with all sought of allegations such as killing of Dele Giwa, 12.4 billion dollars gulf war money also annulment of election (June 12), using it as the genesis of economy quagmire and also to discredit IBB’s political ambition. I personally did not agree with that, because If Mr. A should make a mistake why can’t Mr. B learn from it and correct it when he has everything at is disposal to do so. And if that is the case, then we are all bird of the same feather, and we should stop blaming one man. I can see how foolish and ridiculous we are in this country,
and that’s why we never move forward. Why the persistent of allegations and not IBB’s achievements, is good policies, programmes that this country still enjoying. Neither of these claims is accurate in the realm of downfall of Nigeria economy, nor do they inspire a tremendous level of confidence in the hopeful Nigerian not to vote for IBB come 2011.

We have seen worst cases of corruption, ruthless killings and election misconduct in this country after IBB left office. We have witness crisis for the last decade of killing innocent souls not a personality such as Dele Giwa’s case may be, but mass killings which I consider as “Genocide” and “Carnage”. But nobody seems to talk about it. We have seen the murdered of Bola Ige, Harry
Marshal and other great Nigerian leaders during OBJ’s tenure, those that means is OBJ that kills them? What about the religious and ethnic crisis which our so-called political leaders cause to disharmonized and diverts the mass illiterate Nigerian’s unity and attention just to achieve their iniquitous goals? These are all issues begging for answers.

I must say here, that IBB’s understanding of people and things endeared him to all Nigerians even though some are trying to blemish his image. He focused his efforts on points that were easily satisfied that made work lighter and life more pleasant during his tenure. He sought practical

improvements in the workers conditions. Then, his point of view was not unanimously accepted but Nigeria still relied on his practical realism. We the young generation suddenly became aware of the ridiculous situation and the hypocrites festering in our midst. WE WILL NOT CAPITULATE TO THEIR CHARLATAN ALLEGATIONS ANYMORE. Our soul is intact, is not negotiable and is not twistable as usual.  What have we turned to, a vessel of impostors and snitches? We have seemed to loss the good leadership spirit this country proclaimed it’s instill. As I am growing up, I heard those words, ‘credence of leadership’. But when the power breaks, the credence will fall and it as fallen here, what a shame!

We all knew the birth of hatred of some individual toward IBB that led to such persistent allegations, but I said you are executing is soul and why? Because is not a bad man as they claimed. I don’t know if IBB’s silent till today on the allegations is right or wrong I am not a judge, but he won’t sell

anybody else to buy his presidential ticket. And that’s what I call integrity, that’s call courage and that’s the stuff leaders should be made of. We’ve being talking about one issue for the last 16 years, cant we put that beyond us and move on? Let’s think ahead and move this country forward. Our leaders should know that they are holding this country’s future in there hands and yet they
are destroying it, why? Makes us a man, create us a leader and we will be proud of this country someday. If IBB may be the leader of change we are all praying for, so be it.

For the last 16 years how much greater our leaders have proved to be than he (IBB) who spiced our happiness in his tenure? Now our society is shaken
to its very foundations, torn between the attraction of imported vices and the fierce resistance of old virtues. I came to understand that some are aware andafraid of the consequences that IBB in power might possibly have aroused. I know IBB would offer some solutions if given the opportunity. Different personalities require different forms of discipline. Strictness here, comprehension there. Smacking which is successful with we the very young ones, annoys the older ones. The nerves daily undergo severe trials! But that is the

IBB’s lot. Now that he’s busy touting his ideas, programmes, let some opportunists, miscreants and hypocrites who claimed to be good leaders in the  midst of the present governance just for their selfish interest leave IBB alone  and let Allah judge us all.

In the effort to expedite our repair time and retain the wisdom we are all clamouring for, Nigerians should be scrupulous in facts finding, honest
with ourselves, compare and contrast the false believe that exhibited any of the aforementioned symptoms, and extol the virtues of a solution to these

problems. And then, LET FAIRNESS TAKE ITS COURSE COME 2011.

For me though IBB is one of the most heartless being on earth.reasons....
(1) IBB said Al mustafa has being in jail long enough, that he does;nt know the informations they gathered from him, that he was not in power then, that explains that as the chief security officer of the nigerian State he knew everything that happened during his tenure, was he able to protect the people he sworn to protect? NO, can you make a cat a guardian over a piece of flesh? NO, is IBB repentant? NO....First let him explain or tell us who is responsible for all the ills during his regime.....Bush appologised for taking America to the gulf war, Blair did the same, these are leaders and their people still blame them, can you say that of your master IBB?
(2)The 12.4 billion you talked about, did IBB tell us where it is? NO, i don"t know if you have left Nigeria, you would have known that Nigerians are among the few that suffer most on earth, let me tell you before 1983 Nigerians mostly travel abroad for studies, but from 1983 till date they travel abroad for food
(3) Obasanjo could not change any thing or make them better, because IBB was among those that placed him there, he was not voted into rule.
(4)ahmed abdulrahman,if a phycho kills your father, brother, sister or dear ones will you fargive him in 100 years if he is un repentant? if yes, then you are his like,me i will not forgive him in 1000 years, not to talk of IBB systematic enslavement of nigerians.
(5)IBB now sing of security as if he has the key, when he was a dictator was there security in Nigeria? NO, There were insecurity, corruptions, killing, violence and exclutions of Nigeria by international communities, If Abacha, Obasanjo and others were as bad as IBB, that does not give him a reason to came and luth more, i am sure if they were to come back, they would face the same oppositions from many except those like you paid to do the bid of the wickeds
