The general elections in Nigeria is few months away and political parties  have been mandated by Independent National Electoral Commission  to conduct its primaries before June 3 .

Mr Olubankole Wellington (Banky W) a Nigerian celebrity was on  Monday, declared winner of the PDP primaries for Eti-Osa constituency House of Representatives ticket for the 2023 general elections. 

Nigerian singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has declared his support for Banky W.

Davido took to his twitter handle to announced his support.

 He went on to encourage his fans to take part in the elections rather than sitting back to complain as he wrote Congrats

   " @BankyW! You have my support ! Don’t sit at home and complain get up and make a change"
