This is coming after the muscian lost Eti-Osa Federal Constituency Elections to Babajide Obanikoro of the All Progressive Congress at the 2019 polls . 

The singer who decamped from his former political to People democratic party took to his Instagram handle to announce that he has been cleared by his new political party to run for the 2023 elections.
