Today, the Executive Governor of Ondo State and Chairman, South West Governors Forum, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu meets President Mohammadu Buhari in the Presidential Villa, Abuja over what is perceived as a briefing on the current issues surrounding the embattled South West Security outfit - Amotekun.

It should be recalled that last month, the Federal Government represented by the Vice President of the Federation, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Attorney General of the Federation and the Inspector General of Police arrived at what could be considered an "agreement" with the S/W Governor on the regional security outfit - "Amotekun" which according to the South Western Governors, is aimed at complementing the efforts of the armed forces. As part of the discussion the need for an establishment of a legal framework to back up the move was considered key.

According to Akeredolu, among other salient issues discussed during the meeting today, the President has been invited to commission a newly constructed flyover in the state worth over N5billion.
