While I was reading Senate resolution on Yar'Adua's health issue in Vanguard news today, one thing struck me as strange: The Senate agreed that Goodluck Jonathan would be urged not to contest for presidency in 2011 when he is eventually sworn in as acting president because the 'zoning' is still to the north. This is what struck me actually, it is still January 2010, is it not clear that the Senate is either assuming or knows that Yar'Adua won't return even till the end of the year, or maybe not at all, and that VP would soon move from acting president to actual president? Why don't they just tell us what's going on with our president.
