He gave the testimony at the closing ceremony of the exercise, which was held at the Agape General International Church, Maryland on Saturday, October 30, Vanguard reports.

The Bible challenge was organised by Faith Comes By Hearing, a US-based body to increase Bible reading culture in Lagos.

A Lagos Bible App containing Bible in five different languages spoken in Lagos was developed for the purpose of the challenge.

Azuka said the challenge was a blessing to the military.

He said his boss in the military adopted the programme into the curriculum of the military school for chaplains.

“So every student training as chaplains had to go through the 90-day Bible challenge. Just yesterday October 29, we had the graduation ceremony where about 70 students were certified. FCBH has helped us to impact the lives of the chaplain.”Azuka said

The closing event was attended by about 200 Lagosians. Many of them participated in the final phase of the programme.

Notable church leaders including The General Secretary of South West Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Rev. Toyin Kehinde, the General Secretary of the Bible Society of Nigeria, Pastor Samuel Sanusi, Rev. Tunde Elebute who stood in for the Chairman of Lagos PFN, and officials of FCBH were present at the closing event.
