Ify Otuya-new Nigerian female sensational singer

Allow her to be introduced as Miss O coming 2 Ya:-) Ify is very
dedicated to professional growth and seeks to convey her music in ways
that are relevant to the life of society and its people.

She is constantly on the prowl for like-minded artistes with a passion for making great, diverse music. A Singer, Songwriter, Performer and Producer, Ify studied Music Performance and Production at
the prestigious London Centre for Contemporary Music, where she
received tuition from some international names including Toby Baker
(Sinead O’connor, B.B
King, Brandy), Sid Gauld (Incognito), Pete Zeldman (Jaco Pastorius),
Richie Stevens (Jay-Z), Marcia Escoffery (Elton John, Stevie Wonder);
and played with the legendary Pee Wee Ellis and Fred Weseley (James
Brown).

She spent the last six years in the UK, writing, recording and touring with a variety of professional musicians and singing groups, including Folk-Soul sensation Whateverland, and Contemporary
Soul-Pop-Gospel group, Souls of Prophecy.

Currently, Ify is completing work on her debut EP – “The Eclectic Definition of Miss O”, for which she purposely relocated to Nigeria (West Africa) with the ambition of exploring ways to combine African
poly-rhythms with the melodic and emotive inflections of R&B.

Her EP is set to be released in Feb 2010 and she is successfully promoting two of its singles, Temperature Rising and Radio. Ify is also playing at different gigs, perhaps somewhere near you. Stay tuned to be
updated on her music projects – recordings, gigs, collabos, etc. Peace
and luv baybay:-)
