Youths, celebrate yuletide with decorum as Christ is the reason for the season.
Youths have been told to uphold decorum in the Christmas and new year celebrations.
The Delta State chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN Comrade Kenneth Okorie gave the advice in his Christmas message.
Comrade Okorie said Christmas was a time to reflect on the birth of Jesus whom he said brought redemption to mankind.
He said the period should not be a time to promote immorality but a season to draw closer to God and ask for forgiveness of sin from the Almighty God.
He commended Delta youths for their support for Senator Ifeanyi Okowa since 2015 till date and urged them to vote massively for him and all PDP candidates in 2019 general elections to pave way for all round transformation of the state.
The youth leader who described Governor Okowa as a rare breed among the political class said the youth friendly programmes have positively moved many into the prosperity class.
On the 2019 elections Comrade Okorie advised youths to avoid being used by mischief makers to perpetuate violence and rancour.
He expressed hope that 2019 will be a better year for all lovers of good things and reminded religious leaders of the need to pray for the unity and development of the country
