Man, 80, graduate from LASU with second class upper

Octogenarian, Pa Amodu Alimi arguably became the oldest graduate of Lagos State University(LASU), last Thursday, June 13, at the university 17th convocation where he emerged second class upper in Sociology study.



Pa Alimi during his undergraduate days was nicknamed “youngest student”. Pa Alimi said his enrollment for first degree was in fulfillment of is academic passing which he was denied during his youthful days”.

UI Resumes Lecture on 28th May

The senate, University of Ibadan has resolved among themselves that the school will resume on Sunday 27th May 2012 and lectures start on 28th May 2012 after the mid semester break of 1 month.

The school management also said all utilities have been put in place for a conducive learning environment for the students. And they also thanked the entire school community for their patience and other stakeholders for their support.
