Who Are Those With The Power To Liberate Us? Much as a quetion this may sound that's how difficult it is providing the answer to this question in the Nigeria Perspective. This issue no doubt has raised much eyebrow as to whether it is the Young or Old that have the will- power to deliver Nigeria from the shackles of Socio- Economic and Political Degradation( decreasing standard of life, economic declination and political instability). Many Nigerians(Old or Young) seems to allow sentiments to cocoon their sense intellectualism and integrity in the process of providing an answer to this issue. This has probably made so many to say and act in indecorous manner most especially those who want to occupy Positions. The Youths have resolved to based their argument on the biblical quote '' The Young shall see Visions and the Old men shall dream dreams'' to drive home their point on the most capable persons to take LEAD.They view it that once You are old, You are believed to have exhausted your intellectual and physical capability to transform things around but is this the Truth? To me i believe it not. And on the Part of my Elders, they have not done or argued well, this is because they too have hinged their argument on the fact that the Youths are not experience and capable enough to handle issues, but is it Truth? I think in my own perspective, We need both the Old and the Young to Transform this Country of Ours. The Old should provide the Youths with the experience that is required to turn things around while the Youths in their physical capability should provide such. And both qualities can be put forward by any of the group. Let's Work together to Transform Nigeria.
