The Ethiope East Local Scout Association of the Delta State Scout Council
held investiture ceremony for some of its new members who have been on
probationary period under the Erho-Abraka Secondary School, Scout Group.
The District Scout Commissioner, Mr. Omoyibo Samson who performed the
investiture ceremony said this is in line with the mission and vision of
the World Organization of the Scout Movement of attaining 100,000,000 by
the year 2023 from the present population of 40,000,000 World Wide.
Mr. Omoyibo Samson, the District Scout Commissioner also appointed Mr.
Usesiri Sunday, a classroom teacher with the Erho-Abraka Secondary School
who was recently trained as a BTC holder to Act as the Scout Leader of the

State Scout Council, Comrade Agbagoro Landlord-Lawrence, while commending
the efforts of the leadership of the Ethiope East Local Scout Association
and pledges more support to enhance the fast spread of more troops in the
LGA, urges the Ethiope East leadership to shun all forms Anti-scouting
activities which are capable of ruining the good image of the Scout
The investiture ceremony was held at the Gulf Club arena of the Abraka
River and Resort Motel (Rivotel) in the host community of the Delta State
The Hosting of the investiture ceremony was sponsored by the District Scout
Leader, Comrade Odiete Oghenekevwe Peter.
At the end of the ceremony, a condolence visit was made by the Honorary
Secretary of Delta State Scout Council, Comrade Agbagoro Landlord-Lawrence
with the leadership of the Ethiope East Local Scout Association to High
Chief Ese Nath Anho, the Otota of Umiaghwa Kingdom of Abraka in Ethiope
East LGA and High Chief Efe Anho, Chairman, Ethiope East Local Scout
Association over the demise of their beloved mother.
The Honorary Secretary, Comrade Agbagoro Landlord-Lawrence while condoling
the entire members of the Anho family for the irreplaceable loss, prayed to
God to grant the repose of the souls of the faithfully departed to rest in
the bossom of God Almighty and the entire family the fortitude to bear the
High Chief Efe Anho, the Chairman of the Ethiope East Local Scout
Association who spoke on behalf of the Anho family thanked the State
Honorary Secretary of Delta State Scout Council and the entire members of
the local association for finding it worthy to sympathize with them at this
moment of grief.
In a statement signed on behalf of the entire family by High Chief Ese Nath
Anho, Registrar, Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko, states that the
Burial Ceremony for their departed beloved mother will hold on Thursday and
Friday 3rd and 4th of May 2018 at Ogodo Primary School, Urhuovie-Abraka.
