WHAT WE NEED AS A NATION
The task of nation building is such a crucia one.Involving the young and old,male and female,the mandate is the brainchild of all positive minded citizens.To get this fully done,let us try to embible the culture of tolerance,unity and selflessness!Why we say the call is as urgent is because of our present political experience and the challenges.We cannot afford to condone bombing,looting,and maladministration as the way to building on the foundaton of our heroes past.Nigeria is our country and as the song writer would say there is no place like home,learn to start think of the positve thing you can do for your country,the task of Nation building is the responsibity of every one!a%$$~*^j

Absolutely right, nation building is a collective responsibility of all the citizen of such nation both in physical and spiritual. Psalm 127 vs 1-2 confirmed man effort without God intervention vanity. I think a nation like ours (Nig.) need divine intervention, and this can only come 2 pass through you & i, 2ru our supplications & prayers to God regarding this nation{Nig.}. How often do you pray for this nation?

Yes but it cannot be achieved over night. It is a gradual process but needs consistency and persistance.

Definitly nation building is like the way JTF works all hands must be on deck if we must move forward.

I believe in prayers, but prayer without works can lead us to no where as a nation. I do not know of any country in the whole world that can boast of half the number of Churches that we have in this country. Nigeria is the country with the highest number of preachers on radio and television. Most times when we talk of corruption we put the blame at the door step of politicians and holders of public offices. I begin to wonder. A man who opened a church and used the power of brain-wash and hypnotism to hold fellowmen captive and cunningly took away their hard earned money under the pretext of sowing seed is not viewed as corrupt. That same Church leader built a mighty Institution of higher learning with the proceeds of cunny acquisition from members of his flock and 90% of such members cannot afford the fees to send their children to such institution ! Only the children of those looters who have unfettered access to the nations treasury or other dubious means of making big money can afford to send their children to such institutions...! The widow's mite' have no meaning in our Churches any money, people worship money instead of God. 'Men of God' preach prosperity instead of Salvation of human soul. We need a complete re-orientation as a nation. We have to start from some where. These so called corrupt people are our brothers, cousins, nephews, fathers etc from our communities. They left the village to township with polytene bags, came bag two years later with jeeps, throwing naira here and there and we sing their praises, sometime honor them with chieftaincy titles.... yet we complain of corruption. Let us change our attitude to money and stupid acquisition of sinful wealth. Nation building truly is a collective responsibility of all and sundry, but lets have it at the back of our minds, that good leadership is a product of good followership and vice versa.

Do not be deterred by the things that are happening around you espcially in christendom. Every man will be judged by his works. If I were you, I would strive to do what is right each time I have the opportunity. Let that be the legacy every Nigerian will leave behind and I can assure you, Nigeria will be better than you and I can imagine.
