SINNERS IN CHRIST EMBASSY
STEAL MILLIONS OF NAIRA IN CHURCH’S BANK
The bid by Christ Embassy, one of the popular Pentecostal denominations in the country, to help its members inculcate the culture of saving and thrift is now becoming a thing of sorrows, as sinful members of the church have done something that has turned the house of God into a den of suspects.
In a bid to be among those who testify in church to speedy progress four members of the church engaged in what the police suspect is fraudulent in the microfinance bank, popularly known as ‘parralex,’ established in church premises in Lagos. Those person have allegedly diverted over N 60 million into two dedicated personal accounts and shared it among themselves.

The bubble, recently burst out when the security agents and auditors visited the bank.

On the last day, many person will definitely miss heaven oooooooo!!!!

Sinners are everywhere. One must be careful at the kind of persons that present themselves as men of God. With the level of Christianity and Muslinism in Nigeria, I don't think sinners should even be in the country yet, we are worse than those that don't even practice any of these religion. This should just be the beginning of revelations. Most of our churches are perpetuating and abhorring greater evil in the name of Jesus Christ and God. Its is only in Nigeria that People will get money and promotion and other things illegally, wrongfully and illicitly and still go to the HOUSE OF GOD to Donate same as tithe, Thanksgiving and special offering to same God. Well It might not be the churches, but the Men of God in those churches. God is watching all of US.

"Begin today to be what you want to be tomorrow". - St. Jerome
First and foremost, what is the correlation between the Church, Thrift and Banking? Why must a Church dabble into banking in the pretence to make members rich in confirmation of the prosperity gospel of the Church? This is ridiculous. The Church is meant to win souls for Christ, so that such souls are redeemed. The issue of members' businesses should be left to them. The Church can only advise members through orgnaized Seminars on savings culture among others and not to dabble into banking processes.
Is the Church in question here not replicating what happened when JESU CHRIST had to send people packing from the Tabernacle from trading activities? It must be known to the Church leadership that whereever the issue of money is concerned and present, the presence of fraudulent tendencies is assured.
The Church should face squarely the business of propagating the true gospel of God and leave banking for Bankers. The affected bank should be taken over by the regulatory body for such, streamline the activites of the bank, while the alleged fraudsters are made to refund the stolen money without further delay. Once everything is organized, the bank should be taken away from the Church completely with the relocation of the bank from the premises of the Church. The Principal Officers of the Bank should replaced with appointees from the regualtory body. If all these will not work, the licence of the bank should be withdrawn while all depositors funds are returned. I wonder what we are turning the Church into in our time. May GOD have mercy on us. Ameeeeeeeeen!
On that said day, Haven will mark a hail of noice. But it is good we note that it is not every one that appaers to be committed in church is actually BORN AGAIN. There are wofes on sheep clothings. So watch and pray so you don't fall a victim.
.....And he that overcometth and keepeth my works unto the end,to him will I give power over the nation...Rev 2:26
he that hath an ear let him hear what the spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death....
knowing the terror of God we persuade men...
pls desist from casting aspersions on the church...the devil our adversary is looking for like a roaring lin whom he may devour, dont be a bait for him, mind what u say concerning the things of God,whether u ''think'' u are right or wrong....no one made any of us a judge...
stay focussed..dont derail from the truth=the word..
Matthew 6:24
[ You Cannot Serve God and Riches ] “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
Matthew 6:24

Truth is truth!
There is no point giving excuses for any wrong doing.
If church goer finds it difficult to admit mistakes and repent for it.
Then i can imagine how it will be much more difficult for an unbeleiver to change from their evil ways in Nigeria.

Churches were meant to be places of worships.
Churches, members of congrgation should always be a good followers of Jesus in Nigeria too.

1 Tim 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all sorts of injurious things and by reaching out for this love some have been led astray from the faith and have stabbed themselves all over with pains.

Ever heard of this word before? Soteria- that's the Grk word for salvation and it is a total package, which includes prosperity. Would you rather that all men of God preach poverty so that they may seem right in the eyes of men? check out this scripture..1John 3:2 "beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth". Take out the prosperity of the soul and you might as well take out the health and other components too. God is not against prosperity. If you do not have sufficient means to take care of your own personal affairs, not to mention the affairs of others in your world, where then is your gospel?
Believe! do not have the poor church -rat -mentality- that is only self-deception and self-delusion.
Be careful not to be judge what you do not understand.

What do you expect in a system where the so-called "men of God" are living a flambouyant life and preaching prosperity instead of salvation? What business has a church got to do with the establishment of a bank?
This situation should however not discourage anybody. It is the sign of the end time. Read your Bible, believe in God and HIS Son, Jesus, and dont be deceived.
This is not a news anymore, because this still happens in other churches, people pretend handling the offering after that they pinna from it.. only God can help us...
Hey dear, this is quite a complicated issue to dabble into. Its very difficult to analyze if you are not involved. we should continually lift up our voices to God for his divine intervention. In the meantime Please keep it low because its a big blow to christainDom. thanks
EXAMPLE OF JESUS AND ADVICE FROM THE LAW & THE PROPHETS
13 …. 14 And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business. 15 When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables. 16 And He said to those who sold doves, “Take these things away! Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!” 17 Then His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up.” (John 2, NKJV).
“ … 2 A bishop then must be blameless…not greedy for money,… Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.” (1 Timothy 3, NKJV)
35 ‘If one of your brethren becomes poor, and falls into poverty among you, then you shall help him, like a stranger or a sojourner, that he may live with you. 36 Take no usury or interest from him; but fear your God, that your brother may live with you. 37 You shall not lend him your money for usury, nor lend him your food at a profit. … (Leviticus 25:35-37, New King James Version).
Proverbs 28:8
One who increases his possessions by usury and extortion Gathers it for him who will pity the poor.
9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.(1 Timothy 6:9-11 (NKJV).
There is nothing new about this. It has happened in so many churches and cannot stop until Christ returns. I want everyone to know that not all the people that claim to be "born again' are truly are. A lot of people go to Church for one selfish reason or the other and such people can do anything to satisfy that selfish desire. Some steal from the offering box. some steal thithes, while some who are in position of trust betray such trust. These wrong doings have been programmed for the last days but woe betide anyone who will be counted among the evil doers in the Church of God. For those who are genuinly committed to the heavenly course, they should not be deterred by these anomalies. God has not changed and the gospel cannot stop because of the activities of evil men in church. They are rather bringing condamination upon themselves.
Thanks Charles, for your beautiful contribution. But there is a fact that most Nigerians are shying away from. And that facts is: "If the foundation is defective what can the righteous do"? On what foundation is the present crop of these churches built? Is it on the foundation of winning souls for Christ or on the foundation of aquisition of personal wealth for the GOs? Why are there many breakaways, paricularly in the new generation churhes? Why has the house of God become a family affair, where the wife or child takes over in the event of the demise or otherwise of the founder?Where are all the magicians that parade the streets of major towns in Nigeria in the early 60s to early 70s? (They have ended up as owners of churches). Until we can profer answers to these questions we will all be engaging in academic exercise. Is this incident in Christ Embassy worse than the one that happened in a major penticostal church where five persons who were sent to recover church properties from a branch where the pastor refused to remit money to the headquarters were murdered? Five souls lost because of material acquisition in the "House of God"! How many can we count of the evils perpetrated daily in the name of God?
Just recently a prominent 'man of God' was invited to a church as a guest preacher. After his sermons and acrobatic displays he called for men and women of substance in the congregation who could come out and sow a seed, according to him '"with a paltry one million naira". When nobody came out. He said 'in my own church, ladies come out on their own volition to sow seeds with as much 800,000 and even 1,000,000 naira no to talk of men. Turning to the host pastor, he said how can your church grow if you dont have people who can generously sow better seeds? What do you make of this? Your answer is as good as mine. But in all these, thanks be to God because we still have men and women of God in this country - though very few-who are working for God and humanity daily. BY THEIR FRUITS YOU SHALL KNOW THEM!
