Senators, Reps back amnesty for Boko Haram | Vanguard News

If we misapplied the concept of amnesty, then we should be ready for criminal groups springing up from all the 36 states of the federation committing crimes with impunities and getting away with it via amnesty.
I'm terribly worried because our govt tolerance for defiant and criminal behaviour is very high and unacceptable. This is a very dangerous precedence!

My brother, i too was perplexed at their resolution. We had better watch it or we loose the mark. A nation that cannot come out with clear cut approach on how to deal with insurrectionts from dessident groups is collapsing
That is the ethinc coloration of Boko Haram I have beent talking about.  Things will never get right in this country until those in authority stand for the truth.  We should Boko Haram be equated with Niger Delta Militancy?
Those guys just issue a statement 2day that they'd screened about 100 volunteer sucide bombers 2 exterminate their 2011 high profile targets and top on their target list is d vice president. I d NAS members are just shying away facing d fact 4 fear of being listed as target by d sect.
You can now get the true picture of what Boko Haram stands for.  Amnesty is just scratching the surface.  The federal government has to treat them as criminals.  Bringing ethnicity into it will cause more harm than good.
