It is part of the strategy to delay the Presidents handover until the Senate comes up with a proposal on holding the election earlier than expected to avoid being caught by expected sweeping changes overtaking Nigeria irretrievably by way of the Nigerian revolution.You see this people also consult seers.Their present definition of constitutional review is very shallow and selfish: it is only what keeps them in power.If the constitutional review becomes too deep and the electoral la changes too much then the will not be able to produce the type of confusion they produced during the Anambra State polls recently,a confusion that will help them manipulate the results.These people have been promised a re-election to secure their support for the new dispensation and time is of essence if it will come to pass now that America has been deceived by the Anambra State polls and so what need exists in pushing for an electoral review of any substance.I have warned many a time that we must not recognise this bad system no matter who is heading it.An early election without proper review of the constitution to reflect civilised value system will push Nigeria nearer another crisis and this time there may be no return.The save Nigeria group group must act now to reject any hasty election without drastic restructuring of the socio-political situation in Nigeria. The best approach is for them to take the lead by working out what must be put in place before any election or insist on the present constitutional provisions being strictly adhered to. Alternatively a shadow government should be put in place to conduct the constitutional debates immediately because the system is still too closed to conduct any democratic debate.When you start talking they will be forced to join you because they are bereft of any original ideas in their present prisons.

When will people in Nigeria stop being stupid and start acting right. I can see so many people responding and talking nonsense about the novermber guber poll whatever. It is not upto 5 days now Jonathan resumed duty and all that is important to Nigerians is election and how to conduct free and fair one. If we cannot trust and focus on what we have got so far, support him to work well, which man on the moon are you guys yelling for this early to come and rescue you....stupid humans. You guys in Nigeria have a long long way to go, spare me those crap.

Nigerian politicians are very crafty. They can also be funny. If the reason behind this proposal is to ensure that election petitions are discharged before the winners are sworn in, then they have missed the mark. Nigerian politicians cannot avoid litigations because they don't accept defeat even when it is glaring that they lost. So the idea of conducting elections in November this year is absord. What assurance do they have from the ALMIGHTY INEC that credible elections will be conducted within this "short time"? Is this all they can come out with in the on-going electrol reform? Haba! Members of the National Assembly please think well for once. This nation belongs to all of us.

I want to ask, WHO IS LOOKING FOR CREDIBLE ELECTIONS IN THIS COUNTRY,NIGERIA? The options are:
[a] The political class
[b] The present ruling class
[c] The famished Nigerians elites and the illiterates
[d] The downtrodden patriotic Nigerians.
The answer to the above question is emphatically the downtrodden PATRIOTIC Nigerians.Unless the love of this our country run in your veins you would always wants to get your selfish desires achieved in midst of a threatenig scenerios which is the hallmark of the present politics.I challeng the national assembly and all lover of this our country to adopt OPTION A4 of 1993 elections by one and only FEDECO[INEC?] Chairman Professor Henry Nwosu, which delivered the best election results in Nigeria.

Nwokedi or whatever you call your name, i don't know what you meant by calling me a run away. Feel very free to say anything, but i fully understand that whatever nonsense you are saying is out of jealousy or envy. I have come to the white man land with an inttention, to improve myself and see a way of helping people like you. For the fact that i am contributing something from a distance irrespective of tight schedule informs you how interested i am to the progress of our great country. Those in authority know how to keep the citizenry busy with stupid and empty issues just to buy time. During the time of Baba, it was the issue of third tenure and that kept everyone busy till Baba exhausted his tenure. This time around, it the health of president Umaru and the presidential pools in November. Can't they for once discuss issues that will better the lives of the poverty striken citizens of this 'great country'. For God's sake, the acting president should not be saddled with this stupid matter which is the handiwork of self seeking politicians. He should be allowed to concentrate on the core issue of governance and not elections in Novermber. Even if elections are held today, Nigerian politicians must rig and they must patronize the courts. So let's forget the issue for now.
