on IBB quits partisan politics, vows to defend Nigeria’s unity last week......................

"I carry a bullet in my lap, so nobody will talk to me about secession or breaking away. If you do, I will call a tailor. Take my measurement, get back into khaki to go and fight even at age of 71."

Is that a threat, IBB? As ex military president you must be careful of what you said in public, this present Nigerians are not those Nigerians you fought three years war with, this present Nigerians are extra rugged and deadly than you thought.

Better call your fellow northern retired army officers/religious leaders and politicians to order or else, Nigeria will go their separate ways before 2015 and you won't even remember to call a tailor not to mention of taking a measurement because you won't have the scope.

I am no sure we will miss him.  I wish a good rest in his mansion.

Although he contributed in collapsing Nigeria economy, but will be remembered for his non tribalism attitude in Government appointment, though not sure all will agree with me on non tribal sentiment IBB.

It is a world of different strokes.  You have the right to give him credit for things he did well in your own estimation.  Someone else may have a different opinion.  I wish him the best of luck in his retirement and also wish to remind him that he should use his exalted position to work for the peaceful co-existence of the North and the South.
