Our youths did not fall from heaven, they have fathers, who invariable formed the bulk of corrupt politicians.  Many of them were sponsored into various political positions/offices with an understanding to off-set whatever bill/bills that were incured in the course of their political campaings.  So you see they have an oath of allegance stirring them in the face and since a snake must begat its type, the have no option than to fall into the steps of their godfathers and corrupt politician parents.
The is a saying that the society make the people what they are, as well as the people make the society what it is. honestly we have lost value as a people bywhich we need a social re engineering, take a look at bankole for instace how would  one clamour for youth to get in to leadership position , bankole gave nothing to the system but took away so much from the system when others are dying of hunger and stervation.
If you analyse Charlse thought, truely you will discover that it is a chain reaction. The corrupt rich through any means installing their children in their stead, while the poor are actualy the dregs of the process.First, they can't afford to train their children properly because of lack of finance.Bankole's father was and still is in politics.Check the process,it is a chain reaction;there is continuity in the corrupt getting getting richer, while the poor is striving in poverty.Still going from businesses of the corrupt searching for VACANCIES.

We need serious re-orientation.  Our society has too much respect for riches and so everyone tries to get rich either by hook or crook so as to attract respect.  This is working against us.

You are right my dear.  We have a system whereby there is a line up of father, children and grandchildren.  Positions have been secured for children unborn, while some youths are roaming the street in search of jobs.  Have you ever seen or heard that the son of a poor man was appointed a minister or ambassador?  Merit exists only in principle in the country.  Littles wonder why many youths are into crime.  If the society cannot engage them, they engage the society.
