'Police is your friend' is police truely the friend of the people?

Surely the police is surpose to be your friend but due to their corrupt nature and public distrust, they have lost credibility

But they still claim 2 be people's friend and still expect people 2 accept them that way.

In principle they are but in practice they are not. In fact the Nigeria police is more confrontational to the civilian more than he is to a criminal.

They claim to be our friends but their activities do not in any way show it.
