It has come to our notice that the so-called "New Foreign Coach" exploration, is a deliberate ploy by the NFF, to shadow-box with the angry Nigerian resentments over the issue of Amodu and South Africa 2010. In the end, the source confirmed; the NFF- unable to conclude a contract with a high ranking foreign coach, will plead to Nigerians, for the safest option: "allow Amodu to lead the Eagles to SA." The agreement also included a back-up assistant position by Stephen Keshi.

This decision was reached after the vocal opposition (over allowance)  to Lulu, was "SETTLED" Friday night. Amodu  was then asked to continue with his World Cup project, by organizing friendlies and camping of Nigerian-based prospects. These two acts were confirmed to be uninterrupted efforts, toward the buildup for the 2010 World Cup Finals.

The public and the most vocal critics will raise hell, but the campaign is in tact and the opposition will not amount much, Lulu and co agreed.

Therefore, in the coming weeks, the NFF will engage in a charade of exploring some unwilling super coaches, while the decision to maintain Amodu has been cast in stone!

Maybe you are correct, but the onus of reality is no coach worth his salt or have some respect for his calling will touch the Super Eagles job.Any body that knows what it takes to cook an okay team let alone a good one. This should have neen done two years ago...I suggest leave Amodu, but surround him with people that really know today's footballing.
Your amodu is a joke, who should be somewhere milking cows - and - NO WHERE near a football. He is bereft of the most common abilities in modern day football. Our once flying eagles has been castrated and rendered lethargic by the combo of amodu and lulu.

Mind you, the NFF found Siasia most qualified, but went ahead in appointing amodu, in the first place. This was clearly nepotism in play, where we settle for mediocre, in all places of public works. The nation does not belong to that ugly lulu. This disregard for public opinion, is a smacks of arrogance - of the highest order. The public watched all these matches and rightfully, infered the mess in amodu's selection and executions - that he has this one-way approach and lacks the ability to read games and change gears, in the battlefield.

It is too late to get a foreign coach, however, sucidal to stick with amodu. In my opinion, lulu should have been skinned first, then amodumb will follow.

It is another 419 gimickery to deceive the masses, while the decision to keep course with amodu has been made. We have to return to the era when our words are golden.

Whether we like it or not there is a need for a new technical team that exclude Amoudu and his collaborators at the NFF. Lulu is like an Andoakaa in football who pretends all is well in the face of imminent calamity. A new team fresh legs inputs will give the Super Eagles a better feeling and confidence. In truth Sani Lulu and Ogunjobi, given their shameless attitude may not have contacted anyone for the job, that should not deter us from persisting in our continuous aggitation against both players and technical crew that are responsible for the failure visited on Nigerian football.
The purported decision of NFF to conduct interview for technical adviser on 26 and 27 February may be suspicious indeed. A friendly match is slated for March 3 and NFF is just planning to interview coach on 26-27 February. By the time they finalise contract with the foreign coach, I am sure we would be in April, counting days to the World Cup. I have said earlier that if hiring a foreign technical adviser will affect our performance at the world cup, let it be, but for once, let there be sanity in this national team and restore the lost glory of Nigeria football.
When the nation is involved in 419, that encourages the culture of deceit. lulu has decided to sink with amodu, the nation can go to hell, he is reported saying,

JohnF, you are right in your observation - that time-line is equally, suspect. Only fools will believe them. The drama will be extended until amodu becomes the ONLY viable option. Hiddink, et al, have denied official contacts, however, these zombies continue the media babble. When last was a coach contacted and hired online - via email?

Great stuff gentlemen, but John, Amodu alone should not be blame neither will a foreign or out of space coach be the messiah. As much as am going to support and scream my lungs out because am a Nigeria in S/Africa.Being priviledge to be around plus a witness to good preparations, I won't concieve myself with falsehood. What don't start right don't end well.Shehata will never be a factor or succesfull under a four month programme and him and all the names NFF is dropping knows this all important fact.Only a hungry and end of the road coach will take this job, mark my words..Amodu is coaching the home base,a magician will coach the foreign base and an astronaut will coach the out of space players...only in Nigeria, a clear and constrict recipe for disaster.what would be the arometer to measure......
The gong was sounded long ago, but lulu and co-conspirator, amodu, in their arrogance, gave a deaf ear to this glaring ineptitude. Maybe, we need to act like some other countries - sting a bullet in their idiotic brains to render them retards - that may be the only language they will understand! Gauging the seething anger in this football nation, come July, this may be a sound reality. Lulu and amodu will require an iron-clad security, to exceed that of Jonathan. They may be made to pay for their nepotism. The best must represent us! No affirmative action in selection!

Now former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson is added to the list. Everyday brings forth a new name, in this mockery of a process. Who are you trying to fool? The European coaches are way ahead of you in detecting your small-headed behaviors. I bet they will reject the offers, in unison, so your idiotic amodu will have his way.

It is way too late! And, Nigeria never learns from HISTORY. This shenanigan will be repeated in the next WC.

I call on Jonathan to immediately, relieve LULU, Onigbinde, Ogunjobi and Amodu of hands in the NFF and Eagles. Enough is enough!
Who cares if Amodu or Ericksson or Onighinde takes over the super eagles job? I've just heard on a French Tv channel that Laurent Blanc has been added to the list. Who's fooling who?
That adds more smoke to this intrigue. Keep the process in the news to make it feel like you are serious. This is like muddying the waters - which makes the clearing process more blurry. If they can forge Yar'adua signature, nothing stops them from raping their mamas!

It is a good idea to allow Amodu to take the S-Eagles to South Africa, but he should learn to listen to effective opinions and suggestions of other people concerning choosing who makes the Team and fielding of players for each match.
Goodluck to Nigeria.
Everyday i am surprised by comments of people about Amodu, the eagle and football. The man did`'t know anything and he qualified us for the world cup and as some says it was by luck that we reached the third place. But you never looked back and asked how many times has the country qualified for world cup since 1960? who and who have been the coach? how many whites and how many blacks? If this is not enough how many or which national team coach among the those that qualified their team will be removed? Then, is nigeria the worst qualified team of the tournament? if not, then is the country the most civilised (if not the worst civilised without electricity, water, road, good salary, decent enviroment etc) among all that are going? To be honest something must be wrong somewhere, but me and my family, must reap from the work we produced. That is why i support Amodu until the end of world cup, at the minimum.
