Big time generator dealers and the companies they represent in Nigeria work hand in glove with PHCN top shots to sabotage effective power supply in Nigeria.
No, they are only legitimate business men cashing in on bad and poor leadership.
Mr. Efe you are right in a way, but our power problem is partly influenced by foreign companies that produce gensets because they know what they stand to lose if power becomes stable.

Like i said, they are business men cashing in on our pathetic situations. They did'nt create the situation, bad governance created it. Those foriegn companies are in business and are also cashing-in in the situation. Until we are able to put our act right and address the ugly situation, poeple and businesses will always cash-in. Is not like our successive government are not aware of this ugly trend, they are aware, but they are not true and not ready to adress the situation.

Whenever something is wrong in Nigeria, some high ranking persons are involve and are benefitting enormously from it. Despite the billions of naira that every dispensation spends on power, still no light. Take for instance in Rivers State, we've four gas turbines but still no light. In short if for any reason light lasts for a day, we will start asking question if something is wrong somewhere. What a world.... This problem of power has been since time immemorial and shows no time of ending. Can we perform an experiment? PLACE A BAN ON IMPORTATION OF GENERATORS and we'll see what will happen in 6months time.

My dear friend, in early 2008 i went to beijing with an electrical engineer to place an order of some machineries and all. In a middle of a chat, the guy incharge told us he was a big fan of naija bt would not visitin for sometime cos of the way the new president was trying to put an end to their business(gen), but some of his partners told him they wld figure out a way, thats why he loved nigerians. Now who is to blame? Phcn, gov't or the importers? Some mysteries are better left unanswered my bro...
The most worrisom of d situation is some states that have completed their lndependent Power Plant, and they are yet 2 xperience uninterrupted power supply 4 3hrs in a day. Only God knws d truth about power problem in naija.
The problem is beyond the ordinary eyes.

Mustapha you can now see that most of the problems we experience in the power sector are man made.

There must be a radical depature from the past if the power sector must work.
