Jubilations as Philanthropist, Godfirst Festus Pays School/Exam Fees for 150 Indigent Students

A renowned Nigerian philanthropist based in Cambodia, Mr Godfirst Festus, on Wednesday surprised many students school managements in Igbere, Abia State.

Igbere TV reports that Mr. Festus through his Foundation 'Landlord Festus Humanitarian Foundation' (LFHF), visited many Schools in Igbere, where he paid school fees of over 150 pupils whose parents cannot afford to pay for their 'First School Leaving’ and 'Common Entrance' examinations.

The LFHF Team were led on the tour by the Executive Secretary, Mrs Joy Godfirst, who expressed happiness over the program and prayed God to grant them grace to do more.

During the visit to various schools in Igbere, one of the school management staff, expressed happiness and thanked Mr. Festus for coming to the aid of many parents who cannot train their children in school unaided.

Speaking with Igbere TV correspondent, Mrs Bridget Obumneme described Mr Festus as a man who God is using to touch the lives of the indigent people in this generation.

"I have known Mr Festus for many years now. And he has been touching lives, putting smiles on people's faces.On behalf of the school management, I thank him for coming once again to pay for the school fees of these pupils", Obumneme said.

"May God in his infinite mercy continue to bless him abundantly ", she added.

Mr Festus on his own part promised to keep touching the lives of people. He urged the children not to relent in the pursuit of their dreams.

"I want to thank God almighty who made it possible for me to pay for the school fees of these children. It's not by own power, God made it possible ".

" I urge the children to take their studies serious and work hard because they are the leaders of tomorrow."

"They can't feature in the future that they cannot picture today. And that is why they need to start very early to pursue their dreams", he said.

Igbere TV recalls that Mr.Festus, had through his foundation, visited many motherless babies home in Nigeria and other West African countries and made huge donations.

He was in 2018, nominated for the Face of Igbere Humanitarian Service Award, at the 2018 Face of Igbere Pageant, which held on 29th December, at the Convention Centre, Princess Hotel and Suites, Igbere, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
