The whole effort of trying to rejuvenate the cabinet will be lost if Jonathan brings back as many as 20 ex-ministers as its being speculated. Does it mean that only these egg-heads can function as ministers? What had Rilwan Lukman done for Nigeria in all the years he had been reappointed severally as Nigeria's petroleum minister?  Will criminals like Michael Aondoakaa come back too? As far as I am concerned, Only Prof Akunyili deserves to come back, the rest should stay fired.

My person, i support you wholeheartedly.
I agree with you, the essence of desolation has failed if as much as 20 ex-ministers returns,
Well say Mr. Tope Adeyinka. Plus I would like to see that brainless corrupt scornbag in the name of michael aondoakaa in jail.

And I would like Jonathan to be truthful and transparent enough to grant Nigerians justice of reviewing the corruption case of that corrupt dirty thief in the name of james iboli.
Just yesterday I wrote that Jonathan should dissolve the Federal Executive Council unknown to me that he had already perfected his plans of taking the action. Having done that he should know those that can work with him to achieve desired results, be they part of the dissolved cabinet or outside. But I honestly dont think that we have up to ten among the outgone ministers that can be considered fit to continue in the new cabinet.
The Ag. President should look out for the best - we have them in abundance in this country. He should avoid the temptation of confining his search along party line. If the best he wants for a particular ministry is from AC or any other party for that matter he should, for Christ sake and for the good of this Nation go for such. Afterall he is the Ag President of Nigeria and not of one political party. Whether anybody likes to hear this or not one of the greatest achievements of President Olusegun Obasanjo is his ability to assemble the best materials that Nigeria could offer in his cabinet. The Ag. President should borrow a leaf from that and success is assured. May God guide Goodluck Jonathan in his choices. God bless Nigeria.
Thank you Chief Ekpete. If Jonathan insists that ALL his ministers must come from PDP,then good people like Wole Soyinka and other fine technocrats will never be included in his cabinet. It will mean that he is not better than any of those presidents before him..just the usual politics of you chop I chop, and he will not be taken seriously either. Jonathan can distinguish himself by being honest with himself by simply doing these few things.
1. Appoint the best in the land not just PDP members.
2. Ensure the passage of Uwais electoral reform bill to make Nigeria highly respected in the international community and also make the 2011 elections meaningful. Those recommendations in the report are wonderful. God bless Uwais.
3. Appoint a serious, non partial chairman for EFCC, the kind of person who will not be acting with fear and preferences to PDP or anybody INCLUDING Jonathan himself. I doubt if he will ever find this kind of person within PDP.
4. Finally, find a deserving chairman for INEC....or allow an independent body to select INEC chairman.

If Jonathan can do these few simple things, no one will believe that he is even a Nigerian anymore because he would have done the impossible.

All the ex-miniters shld not be reappointed we need fresh hand in the affairs of our government as we have Yar'adua fresh hand jonathan as fresh hand so let inject a fresh hand and see what they can offer to us. if we need justice let all left forever no one shld come back for any ppointment .
As far as I am concerned, None but Dora deserve to return. They have done their best for their country and their time is spent. They should go home and wait for the people to judge them whether they be found wanting while in office. If they are found wanting, then they must dance to the music of our people lead by the wonderful choirmaster, EFCC.

Wole Soyinka would be best fit for INEC Job. The Job is too serious for idiots like Iwu (no apologies).

Nigeria will survive.

SE.
Tope thank you! This is what we are hoping will not happen. Reappointment of used waste. When you go to toilet you don't eat your waste back. Jonathan should know this! Let's hope he does the right thing!
reappointing those WOLVES will be like going back to your Vomits. Only Prof. Dora deserves to be re-appointed but should be positioned in the Health Ministry where she will make a reasonable impact. The ex-ministers are ''Breed of empty vessels'' none of them have any tangible thing to account while in the office except looting of money and throwing of party.
They wished they would be 4ever power vacuum so that they would have chance to loot as much as they can. That is why they all oppose to Jonathan's post as the acting president.

The the time of reckoning is here. 99 days is for the thief, but one day is for the owner. Mmeee!Every goat will vomit what it has swallowed!
And the thief James Ibori - his partner in crime & bodyguard Michael Aondoakaa is now in the gutter! His corrupt cases home & abroad must be reviewed with immediate effect!
The Acting President does not have much time to stay in the office. The current government term will soon finish in less than a year or there about. If we have to reason carefully and consider the time.
President should just look for two or three minister to work with him, to make good use of his time.
When new government comes they can have many minsters as usual.
President Goodluck should just make a choice of his priority goal to target in area of development now.

Example: Nigerian youth unemployment situation to be sort out.
Electricity power supply to be constant.
Niger delta problem to be solved.

Other things that need to be sorted out can be move forward to the next administration.
Nigerians should learn how to use their time well.

Your opinion is shared vividly by me. why should we continue to recycle old cargoes, when there are young and hot brains waiting by the corner to be given a chance. I wonder what more contributions people like Achike Udenwa and Sam Egwu will be making to the cabinet after eight years of serving as governors in their respective states. The up and coming generation should be given a chance to make contributions after all Nigeria belongs to all of us. Ojo Maduekwe for instance should go back to his village and stop struggling for position with his children. He is a spent force. Prof. akunyili deserves a come back and should in my own opinion be considered. The rest should be consigned to the dust bin of history.
