Gareth Barry feature in the 2017 Guinness World Records

  First published in 1955, the iconic annual Guinness World Records books have sold over 136 million copies in over 20 languages and the Guinness World Records 2017 is out now, where Barry feature.

  The veteran Toffees midfielder has been named in a Premier League starting line-up a staggering 580 times, and has now been recognised for his amazing achievement.

   Gareth Barry has entered the Guinness Book of World Records 2017 after his amazing Premier League record of starting games.

    The Everton midfielder has been named in the starting line-up in the top-flight a staggering 580 times, having overtaken the previous record held by David James.

Barry could also soon become the record Premier League appearance holder, having racked up 600 appearances, and he sits third behind current holder Ryan Giggs and Frank Lampard.
