In a view to improving the health sector in Nigeria,  the college of
health sciences DELTA STATE UNIVERSITY had again given to the society
40 jugegernaut medical doctors on Monday 13th November, 2017. As these
students left their class room as Doctors and never returned.

The induction ceremony which was held at  the 750 capacity hall A,
site 3, Abraka saw 40 medical doctors swearing the hippoctatic oath.

The vice chancellor of the University Prof. Victor Peretomode ably
represented by the school registrar implored the new inductees to be
just, efficient in their duties and also abide by the Hippocratic oath
which they have sworn. He also said that the profession is a noble
profession just like priesthood and they shouldnt cut corners in their
practices.

The Provost, College of Health Sciences Prof. Ebeigbe adviced the
graduating class to set good examples for themselves and for their
juniors,he told them to seek ways in improving the Health care system
rather than aggravating and compounding the flaws.

The Climax of the event was the speech by the Valedictorian which is
Best Graduating Student. This set was distinct as no one individual
dominated solely as previously experienced where the BGS is like a
figure head bagging all the prizes. This shows two peas in a pod among
members in the set. The best graduating Student came out to be this
quiet, smart, and social guy Dr.Ovobite Precious,as he topped in more
departments.

As the Valedictorian, his speech was fervid and lucid. He thanked
their teachers and parents for the impact in all ramification. He was
eloquent and promised on behalf of his classmates to always abide by
the hippocratic oath.

Speaking at the end of the program, a parent expressed satisfaction
over her sons induction and urged parents to support their children
morally, spiritually, financially and in all spheres of life.

So as i earlier opined, these students left their class room as
doctors and never returned. They have been sent to world to make
impact as trail blazers.

Congratulations doctors, the sky is just a starting point.
