On Tuesday, the Central Bank of Nigeria has further slashed the rate at which the Bureaux De Change sell foreign exchange in Nigeria to N360 per dollar and also directed them to sell to end users at not more than N362 per dollar.

This directive came after 24 hours to Deposit Money Banks to sell Forex obtained from retail end users at not more than N360 per dollar.

Isaac Okorafor, the Acting Director of Corporate Communications confirmed the directives and said the Central Bank of Nigeria, under the new foreign exchange policy would sell Forex to licensed Bureaux De Change at the rate of N360 per dollar, and they will in tun sell to their customers at the rate of N362 per dollar not thing more than that.
