Anything sane with Libya’s Leader Muammar Gaddafi statement about Nigeria?

Libya’s leader Muammar Gaddafi has continued to warn Nigeria on the danger of continuing as a controversial state and called for the splitting of the nation into states to stop further blood shade
resulting from religious crisis between Christians and Moslems.

I think we all have comments to make about this.....

The man was telling the truth and I don't see anything wrong with that statement. If we Nigerians cannot get it together by this time since nineteen gbogboro, we will never...We are racists and that is the truth. This is 2010 our leaders still believe in tribalism, yoruba, ibo, hausa, fulani to mention but a few. There shouldn't have been any opposition to Jonathan Goodluck's presidency. It is because we are racists, simple as ABC...
I think I am geting more comments from the international community.

Who is afraid of Nigeria getting split up? Definitely not the southerners. Why is the North afraid, and now very bitter against their old friend Ghadafi? because Ghadafi is being honest about what Nigeria really needs. Lets remember that if such split occurs, Ghadafi will most likely be an ally of Northern Nigeia for religious reasons. So this man doesnt hate the north as most people think.

We are a nation of strange bedfellows, where all animals are not equal, where the goose that lays the eggs are the worst fed, and most neglected. Even the token bribe being propagated as Niger Delta amnesty program is so openly ridiculous, and just a drop in the bucket compared with what the north is siphoning from Niger Delta to the tune of trillions !!!

Imagine a single human being, Gen. Theo Danjuma with a whole oil block yielding billions !!! and openly bragging that he doesnt know how to spend the money accruing from that oil block. That is a slap in the face of Nigerians not just Niger Delta. What had he done to merit that reward? he will tell you that he fought the war to keep Nigeria ONE (so the oil could oil revenues could flow around, abi?) Now he had been rewarded with very high political office again by Jonathan. How will such a person wish Nigeria divided ??? Ghadafi is absolutely right, and Nigeria must sit down and determine whether she should be one single nation. After all the incessant violence that regularly take the lives of southerners living in the North is a proof that the union is not working. What other evidences do we need?

Those advocating continuing the system as it is presently constituted are doing so for obvious selfish reasons. QED.
Ok lets split Nigeria. Uhm where do we start. How many should die in the process for it to be worthwhile, 100,000? 500,000? 1 million?? You think Rawanda or even Biafara was a trajety try splitting Nigeria today. Lets focus on fixing Jos and finding jobs for people so they don't have time to pick up a gun and a knife
Gaddafi should take fix his country first. The problem with Nigeria is entirely Nigerian and only Nigerians can tackle.
To avoid the disintegration of Nigeria, like federal Yugoslavia, I suggest a confederation of ethnic regions with a representative government at the centre. The confederation Prime Minister should be rotated among the regions every four years. The suggested regions are:

The Gbaji, Gwari and related ethnic groups in Kaduna, Niger and FCT/Abuja;
Edo-Delta [Midwest/Bendel];
The Izon [Bayelsa and the undisputed Izon wards/LGAs in Delta, Rivers];
Rivers State;
Annang and Ibibio;
Oro and Efik;
Ogoja [old Ogoja Province];
Ndigbo [SE zone];
The Yoruba [SW and undisputed Yoruba wards/LGAs in Kwara, Kogi];
The Nupe and related ethnic groups;
The region of the original Hausa states (Emirates of Biram, Daura, Gobir, Kano, Katsina, Rano, and Zaria) and related ethnic groups];
Benue and Plateau;
The Kanuri and their cultural neighbours [Borno, Yobe, etc.];
Adamawa and Taraba.

The following positions SHOULD NOT be held by the five major groups [i.e. Fula, Hausa, Izon, Ndigbo, Yoruba] to forestall the recurrent attempts by the major ethnic groups to dominate our country:

President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces;

Chief Judge; President of the Senate; Speaker of the House of Representatives;

Chiefs of Army, Air force, Navy; and

The heads of paramilitary agencies.
I am very satisfied at your comment "To avoid the disintegration of Nigeria" by Akhabue. I think I have to share this message across. Thanks for being there.

what did Gadaffi know about nigeria? he said we should split on religious differences, but i tell every body who cares to listen  that, our problem in this country is more of tribalism, ethnicity, than religious problem , a visit to the south western part of the country would convince you of this , where a moslem and co exist in peace and harmony with a christaine  , a moslem getting married to a christain and still they  lived togather successful as couple . The problem with our brother in the north , is just that 80% of them are bonafied illitrate who only act on alians doctrine sold to the by moslem fanatics, Gadaffi is a mad dog according to Regan of USA . he lack what it takes to tell  nigeria to split , his irrationality is showing in his quest to remain in power , even when his people said they do not want him again , vary soon he and his family would found themselves in hell fire by the grace of God.
Colonel Gaddafi is not soothsayer. He only said his opinion. The fact that we are killing and maiming our brothers and sisters in the name of religion and tribe is a clear clarion call to split. The Hausas as they are being called are the people killing. The secterian kiling, the carton killing, you tore the quaran killing and blasphemy killing. Why all these? That same people Hausa, Hausa, Hausa and Hausas.
So why cant we separate like Sudan. Let the west go and let the north stay. If the yorubas will suport the east and south killings will be nipped in the bud.
