Anger is an emotion just like other emotions. But its always good to control it,since uncontrolled anger can put one in a very deep trouble and dispair.

It is uncontrolled emotion. It is an emotional outburst, which can arise from false statements against some one, undue challenge, physical assault etc. Anger can lead to fight, war, destruction etc.  it is better to have self control over anger because an uncontrolled anger can have serious consequences, which may lead to regret.
Anger is destruction to self and others. At this point of reasoning, what comes to the fore is how best to inflict pain to others or self.At this level,REASON ignores the,"ID, EGO and SUPER EGO".
@ amobi, charles n davidson thanks 4 ur comment. But how can anger be control when u re so upset?

l srongly believe we need to create time to be having sessions with Psychologists to enable us unbottle our bottled anger.Where we can't afford one,we can confide in our closed ones.If it turns out the anger is directed to any of these loved ones,l will suggest the BHUDDIST practice.Look at the goodness of such persons at that particular time.lam sure that before you finish reflecting on the number(s) of goodness of that person, your anger will be long gone.

In my own words, its one's inability to control his or her emotional feelings. This is a very bad thing cos human is meant to control their feelings, not their feelings controlling them.
But anger can be necessary at times especially when one needs an avenue to ventilate a build up of emotions.  In such situation the angry should be distanced while in the mood.  He/she will come to his/her senses after wards.
