I wish to draw the attention of Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria that fixing a date for the final validation of the customer accounts with the commercial bank will disinfrachize some of the customers of the banks who are not reident in Nigeria. Appropriate measures should be put in place not to allow these people who had accounts with the banks not to loose their money for not being around within this short period given to re-validate the accounts. I am saying this, because most of the over-zealous bank workers will now see it as an opportunity of connering every money in the accounts they found out that the owner didnt appear for the validation.
There should exemption for whosoever that has prove whenever he comes back to Nigeria and wishes to revalidate his own account to avoid unnecessary litigations.
why should one close a hard earned money of an individual,in that case consideration should be taken on those of them whose business requires a trip of about months.
Extension of time is absolutely necessary. We are living in a civilized world. You don't just instruct to close someone's account for no sufficient reason. What ever reason CBN has for the validation, adequate consideration should be given to citizens, without whose money, the banks cannot operate.

If the apex court should close the account of those who did not revalidate their account then it is unfair. I think the timing is too short and an extension should be given for up to six months.
