ABSTAIN FROM SEX OR USE CONDOM; A DOUBLE STANDARD WARNING!
Since the coming of the dreaded HIV/AIDS, the warning has been to either abstain from sex or use condom. The audience, most especially unmarried youth and unfaithful couples have been caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. Some moralists believe that the warning on the use of condoms is a way of encouraging pre-marital sex as well as unfaithfulness while the liberalists think that to abstain from sex is a step that is unattainable especially to those that have attained matured age of eighteen; its a way of cheating nature!
I see this warning as a double standard because health institutions like WHO, UNICEF and host of others should be more specific especially to the unmarried on the reason to be totally abstained from sex instaed of giving them the option of condom. What is your humble opinion on this topic?

You know human beings cannot abstain from sex because to some of them, life is not complete without it. To such people the issue of using condom makes much sense. But to those who can abstain from it, they have nothing to do with condom. After all, wetin concern vulture and barber.

That's just the point. Emphasis should be more on abstinence and faithfulness than condom. Condom encourages even teenagers to want to have sex as far as there is a way out.

Yeah! To eschew from imoral sex is what one can do in order to prevent all these deadly disease. But my problem now is, how can someone do without sex for a longtime? Does condom have 100% safe?

If my memory does not fail me, I think there is a proof of flop in the use of condoms. The dangerous fact remains that if you are abstaining, how sure are you that your partner is?
